Cas nodded and huddled closer to Zachary. "Sounds like a plan. Wake me up whenever you're ready to go."
Cas nodded and huddled closer to Zachary. "Sounds like a plan. Wake me up whenever you're ready to go."
"Okay, then." Serna stood, taking their empty plates up. "I'll see you in the morning then?"
"Mhmm." Cas got to his feet and helped Zachary up as well. "Ready to go to bed, love?"
"Yes," Zachary agreed. He kissed Cas's head, saying a quiet good night to Serna as he stood with Cas's help and his cane.
Cas led Zachary into the bedroom and got him settled on the bed. Nix yawned and stretched a bit, trying to get more comfortable.
Zachary kissed Cas's cheek, letting out a hum.
"I love you," the minor god said softly, running his fingers through Cas's hair.
Derlik shifted so Nix was laying on top of him, running his hand over the man's back.
"Love you too, Zachary…" Cas huddled up with Zachary and hummed softly, seeming content for the moment.
Nix purred contentedly at the petting, shifting around a bit as he started dozing off.
Zachary pulled the blankets up, tucking them both in.
"Good night…"
"Sweet dreams, Nix," Derlik said gently, kissing Nix's head as he settled down for the night.
"Goodnight, Zachary…" Cas huddled up in Zachary's arms and soon fell asleep. Nix did the same, relaxing in Derlik's embrace.
Derlik was up first in the morning. One less day before they had to go back to Halm's home. He hated the thought. The god sat up slightly, still holding Nix close to himself.
Nix stirred a bit when Derlik moved, whining sleepily in protest. "Mmmmm…" He buried his face in Derlik's chest, purring weakly.
"Ah, I've got you." Derlik held Nix close, kissing his head lightly. He smiled gently at the purr, tucking Nix into his arms securely.
Nix relaxed when Derlik soothed him, going limp in the god's arms and purring idly as he was held close.
Derlik let out a relieved breath when Nix relaxed, placing a gentle kiss on Nix's head. He was glad the cat could have some time to ignorant bliss.
Nix didn't wake up for another hour or so, at which point he stirred and looked up at Derlik sleepily. "Mmm…"
Derlik looked down when Nix finally did wake up, smiling softly.
"Morning, sleepy head…" The god ran his fingers through Nix's hair and down his back, pulling him into a gentle hug.
"Mooooorning…" Nix yawned and rested his head on Derlik's shoulder. "What time is it? Is anybody else awake?"
"It's about nine o'clock," Derlik said, looking up. "And if they are, they haven't come out of their rooms yet."
Nix nodded a bit and snuggled closer. "Mmm… can we do something fun today? While we… don't have to be there…"
"Yes, I think that sounds like a good idea," Derlik agreed. "What would you like to do?" Derlik ran his fingers through Nix's hair, letting out a hum.
Nix shrugged, leaning into Derlik's hand. "I dunno. What's around this place for us to do?"
"Well, we could play games, watch some movies, go for a walk in the gardens…" Derlik hummed, lifting his fingers to scratch behind Nix's ear.
"Mmmm~… what kinda games?" He asked softly. "Anything fun? I don't play a lot of games…"
"Well…" Derlik thought a moment for things that didn't require reading. "We could play card games, or do puzzles."
"Ooh, I like puzzles!" Nix smiled brightly. "We should do one of them!"
"Okay then, puzzles it is!" Derlik smiled, standing up with Nix in his arms.
"What kinda puzzles do we have to do?" Nix asked curiously, huddling a bit closer.
"Well, what sizes of puzzles do you normally do? The big ones, or the smaller ones?" Derlik held Nix to his chest, moving to find where Serna kept the puzzles.
"Uhm… I usually do little ones because I'm not really that good at puzzles yet." Nix looked down at the puzzles curiously.
"Okay! A little one it is then." Derlik shifted Nix in his arms, pulling out a puzzle with a garden landscape. "Thoughts?"
