Faye looked over at Lila and checked the time. “We probably should head out,” she said, throwing her hair up into a pony tail. She adjusted her clothes and brushed her shirt off so it wasn’t as wrinkled.

Coming down the stairs, Karina nodded. She had considered offering the invitation to go to Calixto or Dax, but then again, what Malchai would want to witness a cruel trial?

@Lenered

Calla was picked up and placed on a platform as she counted the seconds from one to ten. "One." Ronan's coming. "Two." he promised he would. "Three." if I hadn't been such an idiot, Ronan wouldn't have to come. "Four." I'm going to die today. "Five." Ronan will come. He has to. "Six." I can hear the people cheering. Do they hate me that much? "Seven." am I really a monster? "Eight." I kill. I reap. I am a monster. "Nine." if I don't die, I promise that I won't reap ever again. "Ten." how would I eat?

Faye smiled at Karina and nodded, walking towards the door. She went out, waiting for the others for a moment before walking at a quick pace to the Square.

Ronan’s lungs burned again as he ran. Once he reached the North Sector, he hid the instruments under his coat. He also took what looked like an iron chained necklace. It tinged against his skin as he slipped it around his neck. It wouldn’t leave burn marks like it did to most, but it would definetly feel uncomfortable. All humans wore those, it wold make him blend in more. He eventually got out of the woods, slowing into a decent paced jog, feeling exhausted. But he had to keep going. He couldn’t rest.

Lila followed Faye off and walked towards the square. Already there was a large crowd, she fingered her medallion with one hand and her gun with the other. She muttered to herself, "This isn't going to be easy."

(Going to bump this up)

Faye nodded and frowned heavily. She couldn't see who was on the Block, but it must have been a big deal. There were more people crowded around than normal. She did her best to shift through the crowd, trying not to bump into too many people. Once she got to a spot where she could see, her eyes widened. “The Sunai child?”
