Melissa sighed softly, burying her face in his chest. She kissed him softly, starting to pull back. “I love you… so much.”
Melissa sighed softly, burying her face in his chest. She kissed him softly, starting to pull back. “I love you… so much.”
"I love you too, Mel… we really should head out now. It's freezing."
Melissa nodded, kissing his lips softly. “Right…” She whispered, taking his hand as she led him along to her house.
Lucas smiled gently and followed Melissa, sighing softly in relief once they were back in the warm house. "Mm…"
Melissa smiled weakly as well, pulling him back in for a hug when they were inside. “Mmm, hot chocolate?” She asked softly, pulling even closer to him.
"Sounds good to me, darling." Lucas hummed softly to himself as he returned the hug.
Melissa hummed, pulling him on over to the couch. “You sit, and I’ll go make it.” She hummed, pecking his lips.
"You sure, Mel?" Lucas asked. "I'm happy to do it, you know."
"I do know, but I want to do something nice." Melissa whispered, pulling back to head into the kitchen.
Lucas sighed softly. "Alright, Mel…" He sat down on the couch with Cody and waited for Melissa to return.
It wasn't long before Melissa came back, carrying too mugs of the sweet drink. "Here you are, my love."
"Thanks, darling~" Lucas kissed Melissa's cheek softly before beginning to drink his hot chocolate. "What do you wanna do now?"
Melissa shrugged as she sat down next to him, sighing softly. She slowly traced the rim of her cup in silence.
Lucas rested his head on Melissa's shoulder and moved closer to her while he drank his hot chocolate. "I love you…"
A weak smile pulled up when he scooted closer. "I love you, too…"
Lucas hummed softly to himself and closed his eyes as he continued drinking his cocoa.
Melissa hummed quietly to herself, slowly drinking from her mug. She was quietly tapping her fingers on the glass in time with her humming.
Lucas soon finished his cup of hot chocolate and set it down on the coffee table before huddling up against Melissa again.
Melissa smiled softly, nosing against his cheek. The longer they were quiet, the more she seemed to grow out of her strange behavior.
Lucas kept quiet when he noticed that it seemed to be helpful to Melissa, just staying right up next to her for now.
Her face was loosing the flushed color to it, but she still managed to look more lively than she had earlier. Whatever had been wrong seemed to fade away as she sipped down the hot chocolate. After a bit, she looked down at him with a tender smile. "I love you…"
"Love you too, Mel… are you feeling any better?" Lucas asked gently, turning his gaze up to Melissa's face.
Melissa nodded just a little. "A bit, yeah. I still dunno what was wrong with me, though." She whispered, kissing his lips.
Lucas shrugged a bit. "No idea, but I'm glad you're feeling better now."
"Mhmm…" Melissa let out a soft sigh, reaching out to set her mug on the coffee table. "What now?"
"Whatever your heart desires, my darling." Lucas smiled gently and kissed her.
"What if my heart's desire is for you to decide?" Melissa joked, returning the kiss.
Lucas stuck his tongue out playfully. "Then we'd be having a rough time because I have no idea."
"Mmm, welll…" Melissa trailed off, looking back up the stairs. "There might be something in my room to do..?"
"Well, I'm willing to have a look." Lucas smiled gently. He got to his feet and held his hand out to Melissa.
