(Give me a couple minutes to post. Math hw. D:)
(Ok)
(Hello? Erudite, Lavender?)
(Are you there?)
(HELLO FRENS! I WAS WORKING ON MY OC)
(All we need is erudite….)
(I'm here! Shiloh still has to say something right?)
(Yes)
(Yepperoo)
(Ok!)
Shiloh's heart throbbed under the weights of lingering stress and pain, renewed by Essar and Winter. She wiped the palm of her hand along her cheeks to catch the tears before they fell.
Essar looked up. "Sorry to lay my sob story on you guys. You okay Shiloh?"
Winter looked at Shiloh, "Yeah, are you ok? I told my story, and Essar told his, you can share yours with us. We will understand. I promise. Essar, don't be sorry for sharing your story. I mean I told you mine. You still have a chance for finding them. I don't. My people don't exsist anymore. It would make me feel like I redeemed myself if I could help you find your family."
Shiloh blinked and looked up. Essar was looking at her and she nodded. "Yeah," she sniffed, "I'm fine. Just… nothing."
Essar nodded. "Okay Shiloh." He turned to Winter. "Thanks Winter."
Winter smiled at Essar. "You're welcome. Thanks for hearing my story Essar. Shiloh, wanna talk when we are in the room?"
"Um… actually…" Shiloh hesitated. "I'm, like, dying of guilt right now… my family…" Shiloh choked on the words and shook her head sadly.
Winter looked at Essar. "I think I am speaking for both me and Essar when I say this, but we have time, do you want to tell your story? I think me and Essar will understand. Plus, I think I know what guilt is… I think I can help you out a little bit."
Essar nodded.
"I'm sorry," she said, wiping her tears. "I've just never been able to handle my emotions… the right way, I guess." Shiloh breathed in carefully.
"Hey, it's okay." Essar said.
Winter whispered to Shiloh, "Hey, it's ok. I still can't control my emotions. Heck, I can't control my nightmares… I understand."
"Ready for my sob story?" she asked, grimacing. She hated her past. She wished that she could erase it and start over.
"Whenever you are Shiloh."
"Let's hear it Shiloh." Winter said gently, as she touched Shiloh's shoulder. Hoping that her icy touch didn't hurt her.
(Had a person call, need to babysit, will hopefully be back at 8:30)
(Okay!)
"Ok," she took a breath. "So, I was this little Twi'lek girl living happily on Ryloth, right? My parents were never into being politically active at all, but I was very interested in one thing. Being a trained assassin. I wanted to be the one to kill Vader." She paused and let out a snarky laugh. "So I begged to get trained by this one Twi'lek - Ayon was her name. She taught me all I know. How to shoot a blaster, that using a knife in hand-to-hand combat it useless unless you know how to do it right… Yeah, so anyway my village, clan, pod - call it what you like - was attacked and everyone was captured except for me and a group of like… 3 others who were all out on patrol at the time. Ayon was in the group also. We got back and everyone was gone." Shiloh bit her lip, then continued. "My… my sister is my life force. I love her to the ends of the galaxy. When I found out that she was gone, I immediately wanted to go find her. Ayon took charge and made a plan. It required one of us to be the scout and go ahead to make sure that the area was clear. The scout wasn't supposed to fight in the battle. The scout was just an extra. Ayon knew my abilities, but she… she wouldn't let me fight. We attacked the thieves band as they were… were…" Shiloh gagged, stopping mid-sentence. She clutched her stomach and sighed heavily.
Winter's eyes widened, and she grabbed Shiloh's shoulders, because she looked like she was going to pass out. Winter hoped that her cold temperature would be enough to steady Shiloh, and enough to shock her back into reality, so she wouldn't have to live her past again. Winter had to do it almost every night. She didn't want anybody else to have to endure it.
(See you tomorrow!)
