Nix looked up at the screen curiously. He couldn't read, so he didn't know the title of the movie. "What's this about?" He asked.
Nix looked up at the screen curiously. He couldn't read, so he didn't know the title of the movie. "What's this about?" He asked.
"Well," Derlik said, "It's a movie about two men. They are musicians- and when they get in trouble with a mob, they dress like women to hide in an all female band. I think you'll like it." Derlik smiled a bit at Nix as the movie started.
(Amazing movie, 10/10 recommend if you like older movies. Marilyn Monroe is in it too)
(Lmao)
"Ooh, okay." Nix went quiet so he could focus on the movie, the tip of his tail flicking occasionally.
(Nix: Crossdressers? :0)
Derlik smiled softly. He ran his fingers through Nix's hair ocasionally, smiling as the the movie played. It was black and white.
Nix smiled softly as he watched the movie, not entirely understanding it, but seeming to like it all the same.
Derlik let out a soft hum of happiness. He rested his head on Nix"s shoulder, smiling as he watched.
Nix was half asleep by the time the movie ended, yawning a bit and purring contentedly.
Derlik looked at Nix as the credits rolled, smiling. He ran his hand through Nix's hair, keeping him close.
"Did you enjoy this?"
"Mhmm! I used to watch movies with Cas sometimes when I was a cat…" Nix yawned again.
Derlik smiled softly, rubbing Nix lightly.
"Tired?" The god chuckled softly.
"Always… it seems like I get tired a lot." Nix laughed weakly at well and huddled closer.
"Yes, I see…" Derlik rested his head on Nix's. That could be a sign of a lot of different things.
"Do you want to go to sleep?"
"Sure." Nix yawned a bit. "I think it might partially be because of the cat thing. I used to sleep even more than I do as a person…"
Derlik chuckled softly.
"Yes, that makes sense. Do you have a bedroom, or just nap out here?"
"Uhm… I have a bedroom, but I've never really slept in it." Nix shrugged. "I don't like sleeping alone, so I usually end up with miss Serna or I just sleep out here."
"Well, would you like to just stay out here then? Either way I'll stay with you." Derlik gently ran his fingers through Nix's hair, scratching behind his ears.
"Mm… I don't really care… I can sleep anywhere, so it's more up to where you're the most comfortable." Nix shrugged.
"Alright, then." Derlik stood after a moment, heading into the hallway.
"Which one is yours?"
"Uhm… that one!" Nix pointed to the door adjacent to Cas and Zachary's room, yawning as he huddled closer to Derlik.
Derlik nodded, heading over to the room Nix pointed to. He opened it, stepping inside. Just like it had been for Cas, the room was done up how Nix would want his ideal room.
Nix looked around curiously. He hadn't really gotten a chance to take in the room all that much since he never slept there. He had some windows and a couple of hanging things that he could sprawl out in if he so chose.
"You have good taste," Derlik noted. He smiled a bit, going to lay down with Nix. He cuddled close, resting his head on the human's.
"Glad you think so…" Nix flushed a bit. "I-I'm really not in here all that often… it seems nice, though."
"It does!" Derlik smiled softly, holding Nix close as they laid on the bed. He ran his fingers through Nix's hair lightly.
Nix huddled up against Derlik and purred contentedly, seeming pleased with how soft the bed was. "G'night…"
"Good night," Derlik said in turn. He smiled softly, pulling the blankets over them with a hum.
Nix soon drifted off to sleep in Derlik's arms, purring softly to himself. He tucked his head under Derlik's chin and yawned a bit.
Derlik fell asleep as well. He slept well throughout the night, holding Nix close. He was asleep after Nix woke up, too, peaceful as he had his arms wrapped around the man.
"Mmmm… Mr. Derlik…?" Nix asked, yawning a bit as he looked up at Derlik. "Are you awake?" He huddled a bit closer.
Derlik shifted a bit, arms tightening around Nix. He slowly opened his eyes, yawning.
"Mm, I am now," he said with a soft smile.
