Melissa stopped when he pulled her along, giving him a soft look. "But I'm being a wimp. I tease you, and then can't take it back."
Melissa stopped when he pulled her along, giving him a soft look. "But I'm being a wimp. I tease you, and then can't take it back."
Lucas smiled weakly as he kissed Melissa. "Don't worry about it, Mel. There's lots of things I'm overly sensitive about. I'm not here to judge."
Melissa sighed weakly, reaching out for his other hand when they were up against the wall. She returned the kiss before resting her head on his shoulder. "I just… I feel bad."
"Don't worry about it, darling." Lucas kissed Melissa again with a contented hum. "I love you~" He murmured.
Melissa looked up at him, kissing him softly in return. "I love you, too… you mean a lot to me, Lu." She replied, loosely wrapping an arm around his waist.
"Mm… ditto." Lucas leaned back against the wall a bit as he held onto Melissa. "How much longer do you wanna stay?"
"Dunno…" Melissa whispered, letting him just hold onto her. It was nice just being held. "If you're ready to leave, we can."
"I'm happy to stay as long as you want, Mel." Lucas smiled gently. "It's fun."
"I dunno how long I want to stay, though…" Melissa mumbled, sitting up enough to kiss his cheek.
"Well, I'm sure you'll know when you wanna leave, Mel." Lucas softly returned the kiss.
Melissa nodded just a little as she pulled back from the hug. "Right… do you think we can cuddle when we get back home?"
"Yeah, of course, Mel." Lucas rested his head against Melissa's. "We can cuddle all you want."
"Mmm, good… I've been cuddle deprived for the last few months." Melissa hummed, holding onto him tighter.
"I know, Mel… I have too. We can sit in front of the fireplace and relax and cuddle."
Melissa smiled softly, reaching up to hold his face. "Mm, maybe you could draw… we don't even have to talk, I honestly just like being close to you…"
"I can draw if you'd like me to, Mel." Lucas leaned into Melissa's hand a bit. "Anything you want me to draw in particular?"
"No, not really. I just like watching you draw… you always look so content." Melissa hummed, pressing her lips to his. "You don't have to, though."
Lucas smiled gently. "I'm happy to draw for you, darling. I'm sure I'll figure something out."
"Mm, I can give you ideas if you need them. Though I'm not sure I'd be much help." Melissa smiled softly as she pulled back fully. "Honestly I'm starting to want to go home now…"
"Well, we're welcome to leave right now if your really wanna." Lucas hummed softly to himself.
"Could we?" Melissa asked softly, slowly trailing along the wall to the exit.
"Sure, Mel." Lucas carefully followed Melissa out onto solid ground and took off his skates as soon as possible.
Melissa laughed a little at his quickness to take the shoes off. "Did they really hurt that bad?" She asked softly, slowly untying her own.
"Oh yeah. My ankles are sore as hell." Lucas laughed, pulling on his normal shoes.
"Why didn't you just tell me? You could have sat down." Melissa huffed, setting the skates aside as she slid on her shoes.
Lucas shrugged a bit. "We were having fun and I figured it was normal. I guess it isn't?"
"I don't know, honestly. I just know you were in pain, and you didn't tell me." Melissa huffed once again, pouting a little.
Lucas shrugged a bit. "It wasn't really that bad. I've felt worse, Mel." He laughed softly.
“I know, but you were still in pain.” Melissa mumbled, getting up once her shoes were on. “But I’ll drop it if you insist.”
"I insist I'm fine. I'm not seriously injured or anything." Lucas smiled gently.
