"We decided to go ice skating, right?" Lucas asked, turning around and walking away from the school.
"We decided to go ice skating, right?" Lucas asked, turning around and walking away from the school.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure… do we need to drop Cody back off at the house?" Melissa asked in return, wrapping her arm around his waist.
"Probably should, yeah. I doubt he'd be particularly good at ice skating." Lucas laughed.
"Mmm, yeah. Probably not." Melissa hummed, looking up at him with an amused smile.
Lucas led Melissa and Cody back to the house so that they could drop Cody off. "How far is the ice skating rink from here?"
"Dunno. Not too far, though. It's close to the mall, if that helps any." Melissa hummed, staying close as they walked.
"Alright." Lucas continued on, holding tightly to Melissa's hand. After a while, they made it to the ice skating place.
Melissa glanced up at him when they arrived, giving him a tender smile. "Mm, have you skated before?"
"Uhm… I think I did like, once. Years ago." Lucas laughed weakly. "I have a feeling I'm going to fall a lot."
"Hey, I haven't gone in a while either. We can stick to the wall for a while, if it makes you feel better." Melissa hummed, carefully pulling him along with her.
"Alright, Mel." He followed her inside and paid for their skates, which he then spent a few minutes getting onto his feet.
Melissa glanced over to him when she had tied her skates, giving a slight hum. "Mm… I love you…"
"Love you too, Mel~" Lucas kissed Melissa's cheek and carefully got up onto his skates, wobbling a bit.
Melissa smiled softly, getting up after him. "I forgot how unstable you feel…" She mumbled, reaching for the wall to hold on to.
"We'll figure it out." Lucas laughed, taking Melissa's hand as he hobbled out to the ice rink.
Melissa gave him a soft smile, nodding softly. She kept a tight hold on his hand as she followed. "Honestly I'm glad there isn't a whole lot of people here."
"Me too…" Lucas tentatively stepped onto the ice, gripping Melissa tightly when he did so.
Melissa held on tightly, letting him get stable enough before stepping out as well. She gave Lucas a gentle smile as she held on. "Alright, well, we probably shouldn't hold hands— so we don't fall on top of each other."
((Boop?))
(Sorry! The notifications for this one are being janky qwq)
"True." Lucas laughed softly as he tightly gripped the wall to keep himself upright.
((It's really all good aha-))
((I'm also sorry if I seem impatient,,, I don't mean to come off that way))
Melissa gave him a little smile, using her one hand to hold herself up. Though she looked somewhat graceful, her legs were shaking like crazy. "I honestly guess we have to go for it."
(No, dw about it!)
Lucas whined softly, still clinging to the wall. "But Mel~… I suuuuuck…"
“You think I’m doing any better? I can barely feel my legs from under me.” Melissa laughed weakly, standing up a little taller. “You won’t get anything done if you just stand here though.”
"But I don't wanna faaaall~…" Lucas tentatively started trying to move forward, clearly nervous.
“If you fall, I’ll fall.” Melissa insisted, letting him start off so she wouldn’t run into him. “It’s not that big of a deal, besides maybe a little bit or soreness later.” She insisted still, pushing off the wall some.
Lucas carefully moved along the wall, glancing over his shoulder once he was pretty far away from the exit. "How are you doing, Mel?"
Melissa has pushed off the wall, doing her best to stand up straight. “I’m… alright?” She called back, pushing off the ice still.
"Doing better than I am." Lucas laughed weakly, staying firmly against the wall. He wasn't confident enough to venture out yet.
Melissa looked back at him, trying her best to stay balanced. “I bet you’re doing great.” She hummed, wobbling still.
"I'm really not." Lucas laughed again as he moved forward again. "Haven't even left the wall yet."
