She hummed as she softly nudged Bianca. “Mind if I come over tonight to work on the film class?”

“Sure. Just right after school again work well for you?” She asked

She smiles softly and nods her head, before leaning forward to pay attention to the class

Bianca fell silent, attempting to pay attention but already feeling the information slipping away.

She chuckles as she took extra good notes for Bianca to copy off later when they were at her house

She hummed, having grown more comfort at Bianca’s house. “So…I know this might sound rude, but can we please not talk about what you saw this morning…?” She hummed as she crossed her legs on the girls bed

“…fine. If that’s what you want.” She said, copying down the notes Alaina had given her.

She nodded her head. “Thank you…I don’t want anyone else to get hurt because of me…” she hummed softly, glancing down at her book. “So I have a start of a script”

Bianca rolled her chair over to Alaina. “Let me see let me see.”

She hands her notebook to Bianca, leaning over to see her reaction silently. She was excited

A smile slowly grew on her face. “So far so good! You’re pretty good at this whole script writing thing.”

“Thanks! It’s fun, I want to be a screenwriter after school” she hummed, blushing and looking away

“That sounds like a good career choice actually.” She remarked, handing the journal back to her.

She scoffed but shrugged her shoulders. “I dunno…it’s actually hard to find a good job as a screenwriter. If anything I’ll get a small Bollywood movie and stick with that my life…” she hummed, tugging her jacket sleeves

“Well it’s still better than nothing, right?” She pointed out, scooting her chair back over to where it had been before.

She chuckles softly and nodded her head, looking at the time. “I’ve got to get home before five or…” she didn’t need to finish the sentence as she hummed to Em herself

“Okay. Do you want to start packing up now then?” She asked. It was funny, despite how much Alaina had been over at her house the past few days, she still hadn’t seen any member of Bianca’s family.

“Uhm…yeah sure…” she hummed softly. “It’s really fun hanging out with you Bianca…” she smiles softly

“Yeah, we’re both probably going to go back to being assholes to each other after this though.” She said with a resigned shrug.

She hummed, looking away. “I…think I’d prefer it if we didn’t? It’s better being friends…”

“Not saying we’d do it immediately. More likely it’ll just be something that happens again over time.”

“I hope it doesn’t…it’s fun being just…friends” she smiles softly

Bianca smiled back at her, though on the inside, she was a little more doubtful.

She smiles and paused before pulling the other into a hug. “See you later…” she smiles

It took her a second to process it but she wrapped her arms around Alaina in return. “Yeah…see you later.”

She smiles softly, pulling out of the hug and walking to the door, humming softly as she left

A few weeks later the teacher handed Bianca their script. The large ‘A+’ loomed at the top

Bianca smiled over at Alaina, proud for the both of them. “We did it.” Bianca mouthed out

She looked over to the grade and smiles, nodding and clapping her hands silently but the smile soon fell. She realized that now that they’re finish with the project, they’re most likely going to become enemies now

Bianca’s brain hadn’t gotten there yet, she was still just proud for the both of them.

She sighed, humming as the bell ended the class and she started packing up, trying to get everything done as quickly as possible

Bianca threw her things in her backpack before walking over to Alaina. “What’re you rushing for? Trying to run away from me?”
