Melissa smiled weakly, hugging him tightly. “Thank you… I want to make sure you’re as good as you can be.”

"Thanks, Mel. I appreciate it." Lucas hugged Melissa in return and sighed. "I love you…"

“I love you, too…” Melissa whispered, nuzzling against him with a light smile. “You mean a lot to me.”

"So do you to me, darling." Lucas kissed Melissa again, toying with her hair a bit.

“Mmm…” Melissa smiled softly, holding onto his hand a little tighter. “I missed all of this…”

"Me too…" Lucas held tightly to Melissa as well and rested his head on hers. "I love spending time with you."

Melissa smiled weakly, pressing a few soft kisses to his neck. “Mm, it’s been way to long. Even if I saw you like a week ago.”

"Yeah… I get real lonely here without you." Lucas flushed and gently ran his hands along Melissa's sides.

Melissa mumbled under her breath, still smiling softly. Her cheeks were flushed a soft pink as well. “Is it really? What about Cody?”

"Well, Cody's nice and all, but he doesn't talk back when I try to have a conversation. He's also a terrible kisser." Lucas laughed.

"I'd hate to know how you found that out." Melissa teased, kissing him once again. "Mm, guess I'll stick with wondering."

"Well, he's always the initiator." Lucas snickered. "His kisses are very slobbery. You're much better."

"I doubt it, but I'll have to trust you." Melissa smiled softly, starting to sit up. "Unless Cody wants to kiss me, but he might have to ask your permission first."

"Mm… well, I suppose he has my permission." Lucas picked up Cody and held him up to Melissa.

Melissa laughed, scratching behind Cody's ears. "Mm, you two are the only boys I'd let kiss me, anyways. All the other ones suck."

"That's fair." Lucas laughed again and kissed Melissa gently. "And you're the only girl I'd kiss."

"Happy to hear that, darling~" Melissa hummed, pecking Lucas's cheek. "I'd never think you would. That just doesn't seem like you."

"Yeah, cheating isn't really my thing…" Lucas softly returned the kiss. "I'm a good boy.:

"The best." Melissa hummed, tapping the tip of his nose with a smile. "I couldn't have asked for a better guy."

"Aww. Glad you think so, Mel. I couldn't have asked for a better girlfriend, either." Lucas smiled gently.

Melissa smiled in return, starting to run her fingers through his hair. "Mm, like you said, I'm glad you think so."

Lucas closed his eyes and melted into Melissa's gentle touch. "Mmm… I really love you, Mel."

Melissa continued to play with his hair, smile softening. "I really love you too, Lu…"

Lucas smiled gently and leaned into Melissa's hand a bit more. "Mm~… glad to hear it."

"You look happy…." Melissa noted in a soft tone, pressing a soft kiss to his forehead.

"Yeah… I like it when you pet me." Lucas smiled a bit more as he huddled up against Melissa. "Feels nice."

"Mm, well I enjoy doing it. Seems like a win-win situation to me." Melissa chirped, loosely wrapping an arm over his shoulders.

"Sounds good to me~" Lucas kissed Melissa, lingering for a few seconds. "I love you, Mel…"

Melissa smiled softly, chewing on her lower lip. "Mm, I love you too… quite a lot."

Lucas rested his head against Melissa's and hummed happily. "Glad to hear it, darling…"
