Charlie froze. “What’s… what….” Her eyes began to clouds over.

"Charlie?" Dwayne called, turning back, she'd froze and the magical rainbow ninjas where walking up behind here, "Charlie! RUN!"

“But… I… they… can’t move…”

'I cant leave her' Dwayne thought, 'And here you are holding a boy? How will you save her, you can't… Run..' Said Dwayne's inner voice. "I'm sorry…" He said, turning he raced down the hallway.

“Get… out? Go….” Charlie told Danni, grimacing slightly. “I don’t know…. what’s…. happening…..”

"Danni! Come on!!" Dwayne called from down the hall, this place was like a maze, each turned led to a whole new hallway with many more doors and passageways.

“Go…” Charlie’s body started convulsing. “I…?”

Danni stands frozen, she can't move and when she did it feels more like she's floating. She runs in a trace towards Dwayne. She follows him down the confusing halls.

All of a sudden, Charlie froze. Her expression moved from ‘in pain’ to blank. She straightened and said in a monotone voice, “At command.”

William turned to look at her. "Char… Charlie?"

Charlie didn’t even turn in the direction of William’s voice. She faced the (headmaster guy) and nodded twice. In an instant, she’d pinned down one of the guards, stolen his knives and gun, and slit his throat. She stood up and pointed the gun at William.

William took a step back. "Hey, come on, Charlotte, put the gun down,"

"William?" Dwayne called out, "You stay here" He then whispered, placing Thatcher in an isolated room. "William, come on!" He called, racing back down the hall.

Charlie stood stock still, the gun still pointed straight at William. Then, she slowly lowered it.

William let out a shaky breath. "Put the gun on the floor, alright? We don't need it. We can get out."

"William!?" Dwayne called, he could see him, him and Charlie, "Charlie?" His voice came out as a whisper, what was she doing pointing that gun and him? "William, please, step away from them."

Charlie swung the gun up and fired it, the bullet richocheing off the wall and barely missing William. She fired again, leaving another mark in the concrete, and again barely missing William.

"William!" Dwayne cried, racing forward he grabbed him but the shoulder and swung him into one of the empty cells.

William ducked down and covered his ears. His breaths were coming out short; he tried not to panic.

Charlie dropped the gun and pulled out a knife, balancing the blade in one confident hand. She stepped forwards, her steps heavier than they should have been, and peered into an empty cell, ready to strike if the need arose.
