"I hate to agree with you though. I don't like putting myself so high up. It just makes me uncomfortable." Melissa insisted, curling up close.
"I hate to agree with you though. I don't like putting myself so high up. It just makes me uncomfortable." Melissa insisted, curling up close.
"Mm…" Lucas huddled a bit closer to Melissa and sighed softly. "Sorry, Mel…" He murmured.
"You don't need to be sorry, if you actually believe it… I just- I don't like doing it to myself." Melissa mumbled, burying her face into his shoulder.
Lucas nodded a bit and held Melissa close. "Alright, Mel… I'll try not to talk about it so much, okay?" He smiled weakly.
Melissa nodded a little, smiling softly in return. "Mm… thanks, love." She mumbled, looking up at him.
"No problem, Mel… I love you." Lucas smiled gently and kissed Melissa again with a happy hum. "So much."
Melissa smiled back weakly, kissing him as well. “I love you, too… and I think you’re average has bumped up. You’ve probably told me you love me a dozen times since I’ve gotten here~”
Lucas laughed weakly and looked away, his face flushing a bit. "Sorry, sorry… it's true, though."
Melissa nuzzled up against him, still smiling softly. "You don't have to be sorry~ I like it when you tell me. I try to say it just as much, but I doubt I can keep up…"
"Mm~…" Lucas kissed Melissa softly and hummed a bit to himself. "Well, you know I can't stop telling you."
"Is that so?" Melissa asked, starting to run her fingers through his hair. She kept up a content smile, twisting his hair around her finger.
"Mhmm~… I'm never gonna stop telling you how much I love you, Mel. Especially if you're gonna be coming around more often."
Melissa rolled her eyes, a light laugh coming up. "That's nice to know… you know I love you just as much, right?"
Lucas nodded a bit and nuzzled into Melissa's cheek with a contented hum. "Of course I know that, Mel."
Melissa laughed a little more, scrunching up her nose at the nuzzling. "Mm, good. I don't want you to think I don't."
"Mhmm~…" Lucas gently kissed Melissa again, still keeping close to her. "And I don't want you to ever forget."
"I'm trying my best not to…" Melissa mumbled, wrapping her arms around his waist. "I don't want to forget it."
"Well, if you ever feel like you're forgetting, then you should come in here and let me know. I'll stop that real fast."
Melissa's smile pulled up before she buried her face into his shoulder. "Mmm, I'll make sure to do that… I wouldn't be bugging you, right?"
"Of course not, Mel. I always want you to visit." Lucas gently kissed the top of Melissa's head. "Come as often as you want."
Melissa nodded a little, keeping her face buried. “Alright, I will… I just don’t want to annoy you.”
"You won't annoy me, Melissa. I promise that I'm entirely okay with it." Lucas toyed with Melissa's hair.
Melissa sighed weakly, pulling her head up to look at him. "Alright, if you're sure…"
"I'm absolutely sure, Melissa." Lucas kissed Melissa again. "I really do love you. I know I've said it a ton, but it's true."
Melissa smiled weakly, nodding a little. "Alright, alright… I love you too, by the way. I love you lots." She kissed him in return with a light sigh.
"Glad to hear it, Mel." Lucas nuzzled against Melissa again and hummed gently. "How much time do we have left?"
"I don't really know…" Melissa mumbled, glancing over to the wall clock. "Twenty minutes? I think, at least."
"Mmkay…" Lucas sighed softly as he clung to Melissa. "I'm gonna miss you when you leave… I know you gotta, though."
"Technically I don't actually have to leave. But I'll be forced to leave, if I try to stay." Melissa mumbled, pressing a few soft kisses to his face.
"Yeah, yeah…" Lucas flushed a bit and closed his eyes when Melissa kissed him. "I know, Mel… I don't want you getting in trouble, though."
