"Oh… okay…" Nix sighed shakily, trying to relax into Serna's touch. "Why did he invite his friends onto a date? That seems kinda weird…"

"Well… Some people don't care what other people really want. They all wanted to… To hurt you, and they didn't care if they all did it to you at… Once." Serna continue to rub Nix, just wanting to give him a distraction.

"H-How is that even possible, though? You can't… you can't have sex with multiple people at once…" Nix said weakly, fidgeting a bit with his hands.

"I…" Serna didn't want to tell Nix he was wrong. She fell silent, lips together as she held Nix close.

Nix sighed and huddled closer to Serna. Cas decided not to tell Nix either, but he was clearly uncomfortable with the topic of conversation. "I just… I got a really weird vibe from him…"

Zachary looked up at Cas. He gently reached out, talking Cas's hands in his own. He saw how this was affecting him. Serna nodded slightly.
"If you ever feel like that about anyone again, I need you to run away, okay? Trust your gut…" It would keep him from getting hurt.

Cas held tightly to Zachary's hand, drawing in a wavering breath and starting to tremble lightly. Nix nodded a bit, rubbing at his teary eyes with one small fist. "H-He and I were just kinda cuddling before his friends showed up, but when they did, he started holding me in place instead…"

Zachary pushed himself closer to Cas, wrapping his arms around him and trying to get him to come into Zachary's lap.
"Oh, sweetie…" Serna closed her eyes a bit. Honestly, if Halm hadn't already beaten the shit out of the men, Serna would have.

Cas pulled himself into Zachary's lap and clung to him, burying his face into the other's shoulder.
"It really scared me…" Nix whispered. "I-I couldn't get away from them by myself and they were trying to force me to do something I don't wanna do…"

Zachary wrapped his arms tightly around Cas a moment, but then he reached down to the wheels, moving them away. It wasn't doing any good for Cas too be here right now. Serna and Gloria could handle Nix without them. He kissed Cas's head gently.
"I'm so sorry I didn't come to help you," Serna said gently.

Cas hiccuped a bit once he and Zachary were out of earshot, clinging tight to the other and trembling.
"It's not your fault, miss Serna… y-you didn't know…" Nix sobbed quietly into Serna's shoulder, curling his tail around himself.

Zachary wrapped his arms around Cas when they were alone, kissing his head.
"I… I got-t you," he said quietly.
Serna rubbed Nix's back, holding him closer to herself.
"Still, I… I told you I'd be there to protect you…"

"I'm s-sorry…" Cas whispered shakily, his voice a bit muffled from his face being hidden. "I just… I c-can't…"
"B-But you couldn't have known that he was gonna try to do that to me… he didn't ask me for bad pictures or send me any on the website…"

Zachary kissed Cas's head gently, holding him close.
"I g-got you," Zachary said again softly. "I love you." He kissed Cas little again, trying to comfort him.
"Still, I should have been paying attention, and making sure nothing bad was happening to you." Serna let out a shaky breath.

"I love you too, Zachary…" Cas whispered in reply, wrapping his legs around Zachary's waist with a stifled sob.
Nix shrugged a bit and huddled closer, rubbing at his teary eyes. "I didn't expect you to be there the whole date…"

Zachary started to rub Cas's head, pulling his legs up around Cas.
Serna nodded silently. She cupped Nix's cheek, rubbing his gently.

"I-I just… why does everyone wanna have sex with me?" Nix asked weakly. "We made it so clear that I don't want to… why is that so hard for people to honor…?"

"I'm sorry, Nix, people just… They aren't used to people like you. They don't… See you as a person. And I'm so sorry…" Serna took a deep breath, looking away a moment.

"W-Why don't people think I'm a person?" He asked. "I… I am a person, right? Is it because of the ears? Why don't they care about me?"

"It's because of the ears," Serna confirmed gently. "They don't think you're a person, but you are. You are, Nix, I promise."

Nix hiccuped a bit, turning his ears back. "I-I want people to see me as a person! H-How am I ever gonna find someone to love me when I look like this?"

"We… We can put a hat on your ears, o-or I could find a way so people can't see them…" Serna shook her head a bit. "Maybe we could find a way for you t-to meet some of the minor gods. They wouldn't see you as anything less than a person! I just…"

"M-Minor gods?" Nix asked. "Like… like Zachary? Are they nice? You're sure that they're okay with people like me? They won't treat me the way that everyone else has?"

"Like Zachary, yes. Some of them are, I-I can introduce you! They'll treat you like a person, I promise." Serna rubbed Nix's back.

Nix nodded weakly. "Uhm… how… how do we contact them?" He asked. "I-I don't wanna meet anyone today, though… I'm not in a great place right now…"

"I'll take care of it later, okay? We won't do it today, I promise. We won't until you're ready." Serna spoke gently, keeping her voice calm.

Nix nodded again and sighed shakily. "I might just turn in for the night, to be honest… I'm so done with today…"

Serna nodded.
"Do you want me to come with you?" She asked gently.

"If… if it's okay with you…" Nix replied softly, still clinging to Serna. "I don't wanna be alone…"

Serna nodded gently. She stood, holding Nix close.
"Okay then," she said gently.
