He jerks back with another yelp. "Woah, what did I say!? I'm just trying to make conversation, sorry!"

“Yeah i know but she could be dangerous. You got mugged by two girls. dont you know how to fight?” I laughed a little. “I’ll have to teach you” I elbowed him again, playing with him.

He stares at you and smiles, a little crookedly. "Heh, you're right, stupid of me. You will have to teach me sometime."

why would I be dangerous? I replied.
for all I know you two could be the dangerous ones.

Luke nods. "I mean, you're not wrong. But if we're all out in the middle of the night without any concern, I'd say we're all a bit dangerous, eh?"

“this idiots called Luke and I’m Maddie. dont freak out but I can control darkness. You got anything like that? Luke can’t do anything I’ve been showing him.” Maddie said.

so what are you both doing out at night?
I asked
ignoring the question.

"Well, I'm just whiling away the time," Luke replied. "I was trying to sleep earlier, but no longer."

“I was practising and accidentally shot Luke. You?” Maddie said “and do you have magic?” Maddie said and her darkness slithered to Briallan then back to her.

I was enjoying a evening stroll.
I replied

“and the magic?”

"Sounds fun! No trouble on your way, I hope? These streets are kinda rough."

are they? I haven't really noticed.
I replied smiling.

He smiles back. "I like you. You can take care of yourself, can't ya?"

After a long pause, he blinks and looks around. "Guys?"

“Luke shut up. You keep avoiding my question why?” I pressed

“Answer me.”

It seems that both the girls have disappeared. Luke looked around, then shrugged. "Okay….guess I'll go back to sleep now." He stretched and tucked himself behind the trash can again, quickly falling asleep.

"Aha. I see." Luke nods. "So, are you two new around these parts? Or locals? Ain't seen ya around."

“yeah it is.” I made a cloud of darkness and commanded it to slither round Briallan. And smirked

“I’m new here Luke”

"Okay, so, want somebody to show you around sometime? I know a homeless guy might not be your first choice, but I might know some other people like you, and I definitely know the best places to eat."

“Sure thing”

"Sweet!" He grinned. "Now, I'd love to hang and chat all night, but I just remembered that I have a little favor to repay in the factory district, and I gotta run. Don't kill each other, now!" (I have to go to bed, sorry. This was super fun! See ya later! ^^)
