Alex woke up a few hours later, shifting on the bed and opening his eyes.

Gabe was still asleep, actually floating off the bed a little next to Alex, arms around the other still.

Alex looked up at him for a moment, taking in a soft breath as he tried to figure out what to do.

Gabe finally opened his eyes, blinking a bit as he woke up.

Alex watched him quietly.

Gabe gently set back down next to Alex on the bed, cupping his cheek in one hand.

Alex leaned into his touch sleepily, looking up at him.

Gabe kissed Alex's forehead lightly.
"I love you."

"Love you too." He whispered.

Gabe was a bit surprised by that. He smiled gently, kissing Alex lightly. He ran his fingers through Alex's hair, and for a moment it was easy to forget what had happened.

Alex kissed him back, closing his eyes and pressing as close as he could.

Gabe tilted his head a bit as they kissed, wrapping his arms around Alex and closing his eyes.

Alex stayed pressed close as he kissed Gabe.

Gabe pulled away a moment to let Alex breath.
"I love you, so, so much…"

Alex smiled faintly. "Love you too." he said softly.

Gabe ran his fingers through Alex's hair, giving him a soft smile.

Alex smiled weakly in return.

Gabe lightly kissed Alex's cheek lightly.

Alex looked up at him.

Gabe huddled a bit closer to Alex.

Alex took a deep breath.

"Thing's are gonna be okay.."

He shook his head a little bit. "No they aren't."

"They can be," Gabe said softly. "I'll… I'm still here, Alex."

He sniffled. "It's not the same."
