"Oh believe me I know. Just a ticking time bomb. Me, mom, and Clara really are the only ones keeping it all in check. I'd say Evelyn as well, but obviously she doesn't. Gets them into more trouble, usually. Also, I always overwork myself. I'm used to being exhausted." He shrugged.
"Well, I think you need some rest." Fun let out a soft sigh. "I don't want you burning yourself out before you're even twenty." He hummed slightly, taking a sip of his own drink.
"I'm used to it. And I don't care what you think about me needing rest, I have to keep going. I can barely keep up with my sister as it is, and well…I guess. I worry about her because she doesn't worry about herself. So I do it double time for us. I love you, but. You're just walking into this family. There's a lot more behind each person than what meets the eye."
"Trust me, I know I don't know much about anyone, really." Fun ran his fingers through his own hair once.
"But what I do know is that can't go one hundred percent all the time."
"Yes they can. People always say to put forth your best efforts, to give it your all, your 110% and thats what I aim too do." He stood up and rolled away, throwing away his snacks and drink, and casually rolled back onto the roller rink where he began to circle it at a casual pace, keeping an eye on his now 4 idiot siblings, all rough housing. Evelyn, Clara, Starla, and Ashton. Which meant Alex was either fine or Evelyn had failed to go check on him. Both were equally possible, but for now, he just kept rolling. His mother could take care of it if she wasn't already, wherever she was.
"Evan-" Fun let out a sigh. He pushed himself up, throwing away his empty cup to go after him.
"Evan, if you do that, you'll be dead before you're thirty. You can't give a hundred ten percent all the time, you have to do it wisely and take breaks."
"I'm good." He said plainly and sped up a bit,sticking his hands in his pocket. "And it's like Evelyn says before doing REALLY dumb. If I die, I die. It'll be with honor, knowing I served my friends and loved ones well." (It's just always sad boi hours here. Even roller rinks and bad pop music can't stop it)
Fun let out a breath, arm going around Evan as they skated.
"I just…" He shook his head a bit.
"I know. You love me and you just want the best for me. I know. I'm…a lot too handle. I expect you to leave now. You've seen the handful I am. What I bring to the table. It's happened too many times. First dates that lead to nowhere." He leaned into Fun a bit, hugging his side. He didn't want Fun to go. "It's okay. I understand."
Fun was quiet as Evan spoke. He didn't do anything for a moment, but then he wrapped his arms around Evan securely.
"I'm not leaving you," he said gently, kissing Evan's head. "You're right, I do love you. And that means I'm not going to leave just because you aren't perfect."
He smiled softly and suddenly, a love song came on. The DJ then announced that it was the couples skate. "Oh my gods it's the cheesiest thing on the planet of cheese." He said with a shake of his head, but still held close to Fun. "Evelyn's gonna make fun of me for this later because I'm lame for doing this. Oh well. Also. I love you too. I'm glad that you won't leave. For…now anyways you aren't leaving. No telling of the future."
Fun smiled a bit as the song came on, turning a bit so he was in front of Evan and skating backwards.
"I know you won't believe any promised to never leave," Fun said gently. "So I'll say this- in this moment, my heart is filled with love for you, and my love does not easily leave once it's taken root there."
Evan blushed a bit. "You Fun, are a smart man. You know me already a bit too well." He smiled and winked, then tripped and fell forward colliding into Fun, sending them both spiraling across the floor. He immediately got up, and bent down to help Fun up, despite the purple bruise that was yet again blooming along his jawline.
Fun was more that a bit surprised when he find himself on the ground. He got up with Evan help, hand hovering over Evan's bruise.
"Oh no, are you in a lot of pain?" He asked quickly, keeping his voice calm for now. That bruise looked absolutely nasty, and he wasn't exactly reacting well to it on the inside.
"Oh this? I've had so much worse. Trust me. Evelyn plays baseball. Ever been hit in the…well crotch area with a low hit baseball?" He shook his head. "That is a lot of pain. I'll be fine. Remember I had my ass handed to me for no reason earlier today, which you Superman Fun saved me from." He continued skating along. It hurt to talk and move his jaw, but seeing the look in Fun's eyes hurt more than his injury. "I think I hit it on the wheel of your skate…" He said while he rubbed it gently, wincing a bit. "I'll be okay. I promise."
Fun held Evan's other cheek in his hands carefully, not touching the bruise.
"I'm so sorry," he said gently. "I could get my aunt, she could fix you up in seconds. Please, I want to take care of you." Fun didn't like hearing how Evan could handle it because he's dealt with worse, because… Fun knew what it was like to go through so much pain it hardly affects you anymore.
"I've got my mom Fun. I'll be okay." He kept going forward, and moved away a bit so some snooty girl and her gross white frat boy boyfriend could pass on by, both shooting glares at Evan. He still had the rest of his makeup on, but ya know. He had changed before leaving so at least they didn't make fun of him.

Fun moved slightly.
"Still, I worry. I don't live you being hurt." Fun glanced up, seeing the two snobby people pass them. He glared back, a shadow falling over his face. He wasn't going to let anyone look at his boyfriend like that. If looks could kill, these two would have been disintegrated.
((HE PROTECC SO HARD! MUCH APPRECIATE!))
Evan shrugged used to it and slowly kept going along, not seeming to care at all. He was used to all this. He just kept moving onward. And so he did,rolling away and then picking up more speed.
(NOBODY DISRESPECT EVAN ON FUN'S WATCH)
Fun stared at the couple a moment longer, and then he looked Evan as he rolled away, face immediately softening. He took off after Evan, falling in time with him.
"Love you," he said with a smile.
(IN LOVE PROTECC!) Evan grinned. "I love you too. But. Take it easy. I'm really used to everyone not liking differences, it's okay. No need to kill every bubbleheaded bimbo and her pot smoking skater boy boyfriend. Leave em be. Not everything can be fixed with violence."

"Well, I guess… I just don't like it when people treat you like that." Fun sighed, and he leaned over to lightly kiss Evan.
(RIGHT)
"I know. But I can handle myself. I love you too though, guard dog." He chuckled, when he heard a very hard and loud SMACK! And saw Ashton beginning to cry. Clara had basically flung him into the ground, and he had gone skidding, bruising up his knees pretty bad. Evan let go of Fun and rushed over, and helped him up. "Cmon Ash, let's get you sat down." No one knew Ashton could even cry, he was such an asshole all the time. Clara's face had fallen, and she actually looked really ashamed to hurt Ashton like that. Two of the most stone faced individuals of the family, today had per say, broken character.
Fun had been about to respond, blushing at the name, when he looked over to see Ashton crying. He didn't really know the two, so he didn't have anything to think of them. He came over a bit, to see if he could help.
"Fun, can you go find an ice packet or something?" He asked as Ashton winced and held his arm. "Oh and go get Crystal, so she can check if he broke something. Thanks love." Clara rolled over and apologized in murmurs, not really one to even know what the word sorry was. Evelyn sat down next to him, and rubbed his back, all of them comforting him.
Fun nodded, taking off once he had been given his instructions. The sight of the family coming together for Ashton was… sweet. He grabbed the ice from an employee, hurrying off to find Crystal.
Ashton slowly calmed down, and Clara and Evelyn skated off back to the rink. Evan stayed by Ashton's side, continuing to keep him calmed down. Evan looked around for Fun and his mom. He was honestly ready to go home, but he would stay for his family.
Fun finally found Crystal.
"Evan said to come get you," he said, making sure to keep calm. "He wants to make sure Ashton didn't break anything."
