Gabe flinched a bit. Why couldn't this man just leave him alone.
"What do you want?" He growled softly, standing up.

"There you are!" Henry found him, smirking a little bit. Alex's eyes widened, and he went stiff. What was Henry doing here? How could he see…oh. Oh.

"I figured you'd be trying to avoid me, after what happened," Gabe sneered. "What do your want from me, asshole?"

"I don't know." Henry repleid, laughing. "It's pathetic, though. You're chasing after your murderer's affection."

"You seem to be doing the same thing," Gabe snapped back.

"Wrong. I don't give a shit if you like me, and I certainly don't want you to love me." Henry retorted.

"Could have fooled me, with you trailing after me like a puppy." Gabe gave a curt laugh.

Henry rolled his eyes, shaking his head.

Gabe looked away, leaning against the wall again.

Alex covered his mouth with his hands, taking a shaky breath.

Gabe's eyes widened a moment. Oh shit.
"Alex," he called gently, "Alex, I…"

He sniffled softly.

"I'm sorry, Alex," Gabe said softly. He looked up, glaring at Henry.

Henry smirked faintly. Alex shuddered a little bit. "W-why is he here?"

"I… Alex, I might have, well… Killed… Him..?" Gabe hesitated, still glaring at Henry and so close to punching him again.

Alex inhaled. "You…"

"I… Yes, I did." He let it a breath. "I was trying to protect you…"

He sniffled again. "But…but…"

"I'm sorry," he said gently.

He took in a shaky breath.

Gabe leaned his head on the wall.

He swallowed, unsure what to say.

"I'm sorry," Alex said again gently.

"It's…I…" He shrugged.

Gabe feel silent again.

He wiped at his eyes. "I just…"

Gabe listened quietly.
"Y… Yes..?"

"I don't know." he said. "A-any of…of this."

"I… I understand," Gabe said gently.

"I just…" he took in a shaky breath.
