Aarin’s disinterest abruptly shifted into stark confusion when the commoner spoke—and with such gall—to the queen?. She narrowed her gaze, standing up on her toes for a clearer view in between shoulders. In the end, the attempt was futile as the crowd around her jostled uneasily. At least, that was until the crowd turned irate. And for good reason, Aarin thought, despite her increasing discomfort. Pulling her wings close against her back, she pushed her way through the mob. Jin was holding the prisoner, what if the family wanted to set him free? What if her friend was attacked?

The queen was escorted away with three guards and Tyson turned back to Seong-Jin worriedly. "We should take the prisoner back into the cell before something bad happens. They're already climbing up here" he says looking over to thecommoners, climbing up towards the two and the rest of the royals.
"Okay let's go" he says spreading his wings and flying away with Tyson, shoving the prisoner back into his cement cell. With a few struggles of course. Who wouldnt have struggled in this situation? Not Jin of course.

They flew back to the crowd, hovering above the riot before shooting down to restrain the animals. Jin and Tyson flew down to the tribe hurrying the girl who spoke up away.
"This is a warning. I wont take you away, but do anything else stupid and I wont be the one deciding whether you go or not. Now shoo" Jin says quickly before shooting back up and letting the girl escape, then rushing to his friend.
"Aarin?? Hey, I'm right here" he says grabbing her hand and lacing his fingers to hers.
Why he let the girl go? Well he didnt know. But what he did know was that she didnt deserve to die for speaking up for her brother.

Aarin startled at first, jerking away, then visibly relaxed when she saw it was her friend who had grabbed her hand. “Good,” she replied with a faint smile. She squeezed his hand. “Let’s get out of here.” The riot nearly drowned out her voice, and it would have if she hadn’t been practically shouting. She wasn’t sure whether to be disappointed or grateful she hadn’t taken a place in the front of the crowd. On one hand she would have a better understanding of what was happening, while on the other… maybe getting caught in the riot closer to the action would be far, far worse.

As the commoners were trying to get out and others attacking eachother and angels, his ears rang as he could feel his blood rushing in his head whilst he looked around to see any of the other angels.
A commoner came at Aarin with a rock in hand from behind and Jins eyes widened before he swiftly brought Aarin behind him, grabbing his wrist and twisting it, then putting two fingers to his forehead and his eyes shown a bright white blue before the commoner fell to the ground, either asleep or dead.
Seong-Jin turned back to Aarin and pulled her close to his chest, sure she could feel his heart pounding as he guarded her.
Even though he was far more injured than her even now, and he knew she could very well defend herself, he wanted to protect her as he always tried to. “Okay lets go” he says kissing the top of her head, and carefully weaving through the crowd and to the front.

((i feel like at this point, there's not much for cail to do, unless she were to return under some disguise to help people getting caught up in trouble they didn't ask for))

Aarin, in spite of her typically composed nature, yelped as she was pushed behind her friend. She watched with a widened gaze. A little stunned that she had been wholly unaware of the attacker. Things could have gone quite badly. “I can take care of myself, you know,” she spoke after the ordeal was over and they were weaving through to safety. “But thank you.” The little kiss on her head had made her heart skip, as it always did when he did something like that. And like usual, she feigned disgust, as if she wasn’t relying on him to help push through the crowd.

(Okay after this post, we can maybe skip to where everything’s a bit settled down, a little later in the night where Cail sneaks in and tries to get her brother?)

Seong-JIn huffed, though not letting her comment get to him. He was trying to help her and she says that. But it was to be expected. They were never 100% sweet to each other all the time.
Taking the back entrance past the guards, they were able to get to the halls before slipping into a darker room. They were safe. Well she was safe.
“Obviously you did need help. Ya know, i just saved your butt missy!” He says letting go of her hand and crossing his arms before trying to find a light.
Jin knew he would most likely have to go back out to help calm everyone down once he made sure Aarin was for sure safe. But in all honesty, he just wanted to stay with her. Not because he was scared. But just because he liked being with her.

Get in, get Terron and get the hell out of here. They won't search the village for a bit, and by then, he can be long gone into the forest. And they will never find him then.

It was late. Late enough in the evening that the palace was quiet, heading to bed for the night. The inhabitants were all shut in their quarters, preparing for bed if not already sleeping. Which left her with solely the guards to contend to. And that was easy.

Cail was loud, and she was reckless. But that was for fun. When it didn't matter, she loved to drink and sing and argue, to laugh and be as loud as she could. But when it did matter? She knew how to do what she needed to. Besides, she'd spent so much time slipping around the dark streets of the city before, she had a bit of practice when it came to avoiding being seen.

Which was how she had gotten into the palace in the first place. She had no weapon, because she didn't need one. She would sneak, and if she got caught, she could outrun near anyone in this palace. And those wings of theirs would get in the way, when it came to trying to catch her. It was nearly a perfect plan, with just a few possible arising issues that she had fully accounted for.

Don't fight, just run. You don't have a reason to hurt these people, just a goal.

Seong-Jin peeked his head out of the crack in the doorway, his blue eyes pin pointing his friends room down the hall. Is was a long way down the stone corridor where all of the angels slept.

The palace was divided into four sections- or "wings" as some would call it.
The North wing, the East wing, the South wing and the West wing.
The North wing, more in the middle than anything. was the closest to all of the commoners. Mettings are held there most of the time.
The east wing held the angels living quarters. Its pretty self explanatory. They sleep, eat, dance, ect.
The South wing was the armory and training grounds along with a sliver ov the forest behind the palace. The angels spent about 60% of their time there. Especially before a war.
And the west wing, closest to the forest and farthest from the disgusting lives of the commoners.
This is the Royals living quarters. The queen, king, and their children. For the only have two, their son and king to be, and their 9 year old daughter.

The dungeons near the West wing, but not in it. If a prisoner were to escape and happen to be bloodthirsty, the royals would be the first to go down.
Because most angels were recovering from the battle, the gaurds were a bit weaker. But they were still strong nonetheless.
A stone spiral staircase led down to the dongeon where only one gaurd stood. There were only one prisoner and he didnt pose as a threat to him. Though this angel always was cocky.

Seong-Jin stepped lightly through the halls, his bare feet silent against the cold stone before he stopped in his tracks, holding in a gasp.
His wings tightened against his back and hos eyes windened.
"A commoner" he let out a whisper under his breath. How did a commoner get in here??

@croccin-champagne

Now that she was inside the palace, and would probably need her full range of vision, Cail let her hood down. Slightly pointed ears peaked out from choppy, dark hair, highlights illuminated in the moonlight filtering in through the palace windows. She had paused, in the middle of a hallway. To gather her bearings, doing her best to remember which wing would lead her to the dungeons. Was it South? No, South was something to do with the guards… Maybe this would have been easier if she'd made a map.

She had gathered the layout from eavesdropping on guards, simply hanging out in the tavern oft frequented by the royal protectors. Though they liked to talk down on them, they sure did love commoners' bars. She did her best to retain the information, but really should have written it down somewhere, where it wouldn't be forgotten.

Oh well. Guess it's now a matter of picking the best guess and hoping it at least gives me an idea. With a plan in mind, she paced back and forth, unaware of the eyes on her as her cloak swept about her calves. She had obviously dressed for the occasion, a tightly fitting short top and slim pants made for movement hidden underneath a long, calf length brown cloak. Not dressed to fight, nor to start trouble. Just to hide and stay hidden.

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

Seong-Jin followed her, assuming she didnt know he was watching.
Light on his feet and his wings spread just a bit as he tippy toed through the hall.
He wanted to make sure where where she was going and what she was there to do before he introduced himself.
He definitely didnt want to cause any commotion or alert any of the guards.
If Vienna found out she could have their heads…or worse.

"darn…should i get Aarin? No i dont want her involved with a commoner. She might get in trouble if she helps…" his thoughts wandered when he turned the corner, though taking a short cut near the West wing to the dungeon, where he assumed she was headed. He could most likely catch her off gaurd, corner her and…kill her for invading the palace. No
He'll politely ask her why shes in here and if she could maybe leave before she gets caught

@croccin-champagne

Since she vaguely remembered the West wing being important, that was where Cail headed. There was something she was missing, though. Something important, and she couldn't help but feel antsy. Like that feeling you had, as a child, when you knew your parent was just about to walk into the room as you snuck a cookie from the oven. The feeling followed her through the palace, like a shadow.

And a step into the West wing, she froze. Eyes on the shadows around her, she looked around, clutching her cloak in her hand despite the clasp keeping it shut. Someone was there. She knew it. Cail had grown up moving through the shadows of the forest, learning how to keep her steps light as she tracked her target, learning how to tell each disturbance around her. And she knew, most of all, when she was not the only one watching, hunting.

"You might as well step out. I already know you're there." She said softly, voice carrying only as far as to meet the ears of anyone in the close vicinity, but no further. If she was lucky, it would be a child. A child, who she could easily sway to keep secret with one of the trinkets in her pockets. Or an adult, at worst, who would accept a bribe and silver tongued words with a warning.

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

Seong-Jin let out a sigh and stepped out when her voice carried to his ears.
It was dark, the stone walls lit by torch here and there. Causing his white hair and pale skin to have a golden glow. A welcoming warmth came from the angel, unlike a lot of the others. He had the presense of a child. That was probably his stupidity showing through that thick skull of his.

He stepped towards her, no weapon in hand and tying his best to not pose as a threat. Though he knew hand to hand combat in case she attacked him.
"And who might you be?" He asked his a hushed tone
