Gabe growled a little.
"How dare you," he snarled. He looked at Alex a moment, motioning for him to stand. They were getting out of there.
Gabe growled a little.
"How dare you," he snarled. He looked at Alex a moment, motioning for him to stand. They were getting out of there.
Alex stood up, looking at Henry with a strange expression in his eyes.
Henry snorted. "He's sick. He should have stayed in that asylum."
Gabe stepped towards Henry now, grabbing his shirt.
"He's not the one who should have gone," he growled in Henry's face.
Henry arched an eyebrow. "Who would you think belongs there: an upright citizen with a wife and child, or a sodomite who has admitted to seeing things that aren't really there?" He replied, not seeming worried about Gabe's anger.
"How about the one who abandoned their lover and sent them away to rot so he'd never have to think about him again?" Gabe snarled. He was close to killing Henry himself.
(Idea- what if Gabe kills Henry but Alex doesn't realize it and tries to kill Henry still?)
"I made a mistake ever getting involved with him. So I rectified the mistake." He angled his head, sneering.
(Ooh that would be interesting)
"You sent him away to die!" Gabe pulled Henry down, glaring down at him. "That's not rectifying a mistake, that's murder," Gabe spat.
(Yeee let's do it)
Henry raised an eyebrow. "I didn't send him away. My father did." He replied.
"And I wonder why the fuck he did it," Gabe sneered. He shoved Henry away.
"Get out of my sight, before I kill you."
Henry snorted. "He did because it was disgusting and sinful." He replied, looking down at Gabe.
Gabe snarled. He grabbed Henry again, pulling him close. Unfortunately for Henry, he'd slipped his knife out of his pocket.
"So is this," he whispered into Henry's ear, the knife sliding into his stomach. "And when you find Alex was right, you'd best keep the fuck away from him." He twisted the knife a little.
Alex was trembling, his eyes dark and his hands clenched. He didn't want to hurt anyone, and so most of his concentration was on that, not on Henry and Gabe.
Henry's eyes went wide, and he coughed, stumbling a little. "You–" his breathing turned strained, and he reached out to Gabe, face twisted in fury and pain.
Gabe held Henry in place, not letting Alex see what he had done.
"If God does truly exist, may he find it pleasing to see you burning in the pits of hell for eternity." He dug the knife deeper, not seeing how Alex was acting.
Henry coughed, hands clawing at Gabe as his eyes glared daggers at the other man. Alex bit his lip when he saw what Henry was doing, and took a step forward.
Gabe did his best to keep from getting hurt, letting out a small sound when Henry scratched his face. He moved, pushing Henry away and pulling the knife out.
Henry stumbled, swaying on his feet and pressing one hand to the knife wound. He was bleeding out, though, and the stain spread over his vest.
Gabe wiped his knife off, slipping it into his pocket. He turned to Alex, not looking at him yet.
"Let's go," he said quietly. He didn't want Alex to be associated with a murder. It would send him right back to Bedlam.
Alex's eyes were still dark, and he looked from Gabe to Henry. From his point of view, Henry had tried to attack Gabe, and now Gabe wanted to…run away?
Gabe bit his lip a little, reaching out to take Alex's hand. Not seeing how dark his eyes were.
"Please, Alex-"
Alex tugged his hands away, shaking his head. "I'm…I…"
"Please, Alex. It's… it's important that we go." Gabe reached out for Alex's hand again.
Alex tugged his hands back again, biting his lip.
Gabe glanced at the bleesing out Henry, the back at Alex.
"We need to leave…"
Gabe put his hands on Alex's shoulders.
Alex stared up at him, green eyes black with his abilities.
"Everything is going to be okay…" Gabe slowly moved his hands down from Alex's shoulder, finally grabbing his hands.
Alex inhaled. "Gabe, no!" He pulled his hands back quickly, but it was already too late.
Gabe's eyes widened a bit, but he didn't seem to realize anything had happened to him yet.
Alex was shaking. "I'm sorry." He said softly. "I-I'm really s-sorry."
Gabe was confused a moment. Why? He looked down, only to see his own body crumpled on the ground. It didn't register, not really. Not yet. Gabe looked at Alex, so concerned for him.
"I…"
Alex started to cry, hiding his face in his hand and going to his knees. "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry." He said in a choked voice, shoulders shaking.
