@PuffPoff
He tried to contain his excitement. "I would love that opportunity, sir."
He tried to contain his excitement. "I would love that opportunity, sir."
(I have to go in about twenty minutes)
(I'm back.)
(Has anyone come up with a reason for Artemis to turn other then Asashi?)
(Anyone else on?)
(i'm here)
(I'm here too)
(Huzzah! Waitin for PuffPoff.)
(Should we try and plot out how some of this goes?)
(I guess that's a no…)
(ahhhh hi I'm back)
(Huzzah!)
He tried to contain his excitement. "I would love that opportunity, sir."
The Game Master nodded again. "Of course. We're rotating fighters after tomorrow. usually we do so with bounty hunters too. We lost a couple of bounty hunters to a particularly uncooperative Serum user in Gobralla. I was going to send just Artemis, but you display talent in the art of hunting and I was thinking perhaps another hunter would be of use there. Gobralla is a particularly troublesome place."
He eyed Derix. "It'd be a great opportunity for a hunter of your talent."
Derix nodded, obviously adjusting his tie. "It would be an excellent opportunity sir, and I'll gladly take it." He would have to work with Artemis, but he could live through it.
The Game Master nodded. "Of course. Now, I'm sure you'd love to acquaint yourself with the others." He turned to leave before facing them again. "Oh, would you like to view tomorrow's fight from the high box? It's every 1st and 2nd fighter from the past week."
Derix grinned, clenching his fists to keep himself from squealing with joy. "That would be great sir. Thank you."
He nodded. "Til tomorrow then." He walked away.
Derix nodded. When the Game Master turned his head, Derix jumped up and down a little.
(he's such a fanboy oml)
(Lol)
Artemis smiled. Good, he was on board. She wouldn't be the only one having to suck up to the money bags and have their expectations on her shoulders. They weren't all bad, but still. "You look happy." She said.
"Of course I am. This is the best thing that has happened to me ever. Sitting in the high box means gain in popularity, which means gain in wealth." Derix explained.
She grinned. "Of course!" She looked around. The dancing had sped up a bit. "Want to get something to drink?" She said gesturing to the side bar. "Most everyone's out on the dance floor now."
Derix looked over at the bar. I really shouldn't. Once I start drinking, I don't stop… He didn't listen to himself. "Why the hell not?"
She grinned again. "They've got non-alcoholic if you want." She said, leading him over to the bar.
"Hell no. I'm celebrating." Derix sat down on one of the stools, leaning against the bar and ordering a drink.
"Lucky you." She said, pulling a silly pout face. "I'm only 16."
"And I'm eighteen. So what? I look old enough." Derix whispered to her before he started drinking.
She pretended to look shocked. "Really?! The audacity. Shame on you." She whispered back, teasing him.
(I accidentally unfollowed the RP :p)
He laughed, shaking his head as he chugged most of the drink. Ugh it tastes terrible. Oh well. Derix leaned in near her ear. "I don't give a sh**. I do what I want."
She chuckled. "Rascal."
Derix grinned, not really caring about anything anymore. He finished off his drink and ordered another one.
