"Naturally, as any noble, our level of documented knowledge is something my father prides himself on." Demaias proudly told him. He glanced at his sister, who subtly nodded her head toward the library doors, silently asking if they were moving on. "Are you ready to continue?"
Fionn nodded a little bit, then sighed. "Yeah, I…guess so." he replied, shrugging his shoulders for a moment as he looked over at Demaias.
When they got back to the doors, he held the door and let Miriam exit first so he could give Fio a curious look. "Hey. How are you feeling so far?"
Fio shrugged slightly. "It's all…very new." he replied slowly, looking around, then at Demaias again. "I don't know. I'm not used to all this."
Demaias nodded. Maybe he'd feel a bit better if they went to a more open area. "I understand. Would you prefer we went back to the garden? We haven't gone through every part of the palace, but perhaps some fresh air would help."
Fio let out a faint breath. "I, uhm…" He thought of all the magical artifacts that seemed to be everywhere. "I don't know."
"You certainly aren't making my job any easier." He huffed, but he chuckled lightly. "We'll just continue as planned, then maybe go to the Great Hall for lunch?"
Fio laughed a little bit. "Yeah, sounds good." he replied, smiling faintly as he looked over at Demaias. "I don't really have a preference."
Demaias nodded, motioning for Fio to follow out of the library, and he closed the door behind them. He would take him to see the Chapel, then Lady Dahlia's Greenhouse, then they'd stop by the Council Chamber on their way around to the Hall.
Fio followed after him quietly, humming faintly for just a moment. This was all a little bit overwhelming for him, but he did his best to stay focused and calm about it.
