"Mm, yay me." Phoenix chuckled lightly, setting her down on the bed. As soon as he had her set down, he fell face first into the sheets. "Oh my god, why is this so comfortable?" He hummed, his voice muffled by the sheets his face was buried in.
Cicada laughed again as she tried to slip her shoes off and leaned into the bed and pillows. She let out a long sigh and let her eyes shut, "Probably because we've been sleeping on dorm beds. That and we're tired."
Phoenix sighed softly, lifting his head up enough to see her kicking off her shoes. Deciding that was the best idea, he kicked his own shoes off. "Mm, that's true… if we're really moving in together, we need good beds." He muttered, knowing there was no way he would remember that.
Cicada paused for a moment hearing his statement until she nodded a little. She had almost forgotten about that conversation on the way over here, but she was a little glad he reminded her, "Definitely. No dorm beds for us."
"It would be silly if we did… they're so uncomfortable." Phoenix mumbled, continuing to ramble off about the beds. Though he was mostly inaudible, and hard to understand as he did.
Cicada laughed a little as she listend to him ramble. Though it wasn't long until his rambling started to fade away as she fell asleep on the bed.
Phoenix glanced up at her, feeling the room go silent. He was on the verge of falling asleep himself, and fell quiet when she was asleep. Slowly he faded off, curling up closer to her in his sleep.
(Definitely. Want me to start?)
(Nope! Give me a moment!)
Cicada hummed a little as she woke up the next morning. She found herself practically entangled with Phoenix, which must've happened while they were a sleep, and in the hotel room. Why… Oh right, yesterday. Yesterday sucked. She didn't want to wake Phoenix, so she ended up staying there with Phoenix while she slowly woke up.
Slowly, Phoenix started to wake up, pulling her even closer to himself. He was snuggling up closer, burying his face in the crook of her neck. "Mmm… you smell nice…" He mumbled as he started to wake up more. A little smile was pulling up, and started to gently kiss her shoulder.
"You mean like sweat?" Cicada let out a little laugh before she hummed and buried her head against him in return. She had a light smile on not minding waking up like this in the morning, "You're the one that smells nice."
“Well, you smell a lot like you, and I like the way you smell.” Phoenix mumbled, continuing to softly kiss her. He kept up a little smile as he glanced up to her. “And what do I smell like?”
"You smell…. like you," Cicada admitted not being able to articulate how he smelled. She gently kissed his cheek neck area with a light smile glancing at him, "Soo I guess I can't argue with you."
“Mm, nope. You can’t argue.” Phoenix smiled softly, wrapping his legs around her. “You’re also not allowed to get up. You’re mine now, and I’m not letting you go.” He grinned, pulling her waist closer to himself. He placed a couple more soft kisses on the top of her head, nosing up against her.
"Whatever you say," Cicada laughed not arguing with Phoenix. Instead she cuddled up closer to him enjoying being smothered for once in her life. She had a soft smile on as her eyes closed again, "I honestly don't want you to let go."
“Mm, then I won’t. This is lovely, and I’d rather not have to get up.” Phoenix grinned a bit, wrapping his arms around her. He seemed to be in a pretty good mood this morning, cuddling up closer. “Just tell me when you need me to let go.”
"Of course," Cicada responded with a light smile. She nuzzled up against him and let out a soft content sigh, "I wish we could spend all day like this."
“And why can’t we? It’s not like we have classes or anything today.” Phoenix hummed softly, glancing down at her. He kept his arms loosely around her, trying to let her go if she felt like it. “Is there something that I’m missing here?”
"Food," Cicada replied with a slight laugh as she snuggled into him further. She wanted to snuggle and cuddle at the moment, probably a result of yesterday and it's chaos. She kissed him lightly, "And we probably need to check on your car."
“Oh- right… I could always call, and we could always order room service~” Phoenix insisted, resting one of his legs on top of hers. Slowly he drew her closer, keeping a tighter hold on her waist. “We’d only have to get the door… then we could come right back.”
"Hmmm I can agree to that," Cicada hummed as she began to wrap her arms around him. She kissed him again before looking up at him, "So we're just going to stay in bed all day in a really nice hotel room?"
“I mean, I’m down. It makes up for yesterday, at least.” Phoenix laughed softly, running his fingers through her hair. He seemed to get distracted pretty quickly by that, managing to start a loose braid with his one hand on a section of her hair.
"Honestly, anything can make up for yesterday," Cicada admitted humming again enjoying the feeling of his hand in her hair. She could tell he was doing something, but she couldn't tell what, "But this definitely does."
Phoenix smiled, starting to play with her hair as they lay there. "Mm, anything? Is there something more specific you'd want to do, sometime today?" He asked softly, kissing the top of her head before continuing to play with her hair.
"Mmmmm not really," Cicada admitted after a moment. She wished she could think of something to do in return for him playing with her hair, but her mind was tired and she was blanking, "Is there something more specific that you want to do?"
"Nope. I'm happy doing this." Phoenix smiled lightly, continuing to twist her hair into a short braid. His mind was growing blank as he played with her hair in silence. "Is… is this bugging you?"
