Alex blinked. "Oh. Uhm…a little bit?" He replied, peeking up at Gabe. "I-I didn't eat much, though…please don't be angry."

"Angry?" Gabe asked softly, "I'm happy! A little food is better than none, Alex. I'm so happy you remembered to eat." He grinned, kissing Alex's cheek again.

Alex relaxed a little bit, closing his eyes and leaning his head on Gabe's shoulder.

Gabe smiled softly. He started to rub Alex's back, holding him gently.
"I'm proud of you," he said with a small smile. "You've made a lot of progress."

Alex sighed faintly, and nodded a little bit as he held onto Gabe.

Gabe kissed the side of Alex's head, giving him a little squeeze before picking Alex up. He used his feet to take off his shoes, going about his evening routine while holding Alex close.

Alex stayed snuggled close to Gabe happily, kissing his cheek softly.

Gabe let out a happy sound at the kiss. He finished getting completely ready to relax.
"Do you want dinner now or later?"

Alex shrugged a little. "I'm not hungry, but…if you are, then you can eat."

"Mm, okay then." Gabe kissed Alex's cheek, nuzzling his head a little. He made his way to the kitchen, humming a little as he started to cook.

Alex held onto Gabe like a koala, leaning his head on Gabe's shoulder. He smiled a little bit.

Gabe finished up making his dinner fairly quickly. He picked his food up, carrying Alex over to a chair. He sat down with Alex in his lap, giving him a quick kiss before he took a bite of food.

Alex leaned against him happily, closing his eyes.

Gabe ate quietly, holding Alex close. Everything was so much better. No more ghosts, no more hidden feelings. He looked down at Alex, thinking a moment.
"How about the next time I have a day off, we go to the park again?"

Alex looked up. "Oh. Yes please." he replied happily, holding onto Gabe with a soft, faint smile on his face.

Gabe grinned.
"Perfect. Hopefully, there won't be anyone else around. I want to still be able to kiss you."

Alex smiled a little, nuzzling Gabe's cheek and staying snuggled close. "Me too." he replied softly.

Gabe smiled, kissing the side of Alex's head. He took a bite of his food, rubbing Alex's back a little.

Alex leaned into that gentle touch, closing his eyes as he pressed closer to Gabe.

Gabe set his food down, opting to wrap both arms around Alex and keep him close.

Alex smiled up at him for a moment, letting out a quiet breath.

Gabe lightly kissed Alex's forehead.
"I'm so happy you're doing better…" He mumbled softly.

Alex nodded a little. "Me too. And…it's all thanks to you anyways."

"You're the one who's been willing to get better." Gabe smiled at Alex gently. "I couldn't have done anything to help if you hadn't wanted it."

Alex shrugged, looking away shyly. "I…if you say so." He replied softly.

Gabe kissed Alex's cheek very softly.
"I do," he said with a small smile.

Alex snuggled close, letting out a faint breath.

Gabe held Alex close. He nuzzled Alex's head, smiling gently.

Alex smiled happily.

Gabe kissed Alex's cheek.
"I'm glad we can have this life…"
