Evan let out a sigh of relief, flew up to Betty's window, and knocked softly.
Lysander hadn't left Betty's side the whole time they were alone. Upon hearing the knock, he stood up and opened the window so Evan could come in.
Betty still layed unmoving
”Any change?” Evan asked as he climbed in the window.
Lysander shook his head, looking very forlorn. ”I… I should check on Laura-Beth and the nursery.” he said softly. He didn't want to leave Betty but she would be safe with Evan and the kids still needed someone to be the parent and take care of them.
Tyler walked in the house shutting the door behind her
”We’re up here.” Evan called out, easily hearing Tyler come in.
Lysander sighed and reluctantly started walking out of the bedroom.
Tyler went upstairs into the couple's bedroom
Lysander looked up when he saw Tyler in the hallway. He looked like he wanted to say something but didn't know what to start with, so he took a step to the side to let her in.
”Glad you got here so quickly. Are you ok?” Evan greeted, standing closer to the bed.
" yes I'm fine" Tyler said
Evan smiled softly and glanced at Betty. ”Do you think you can help her?” he asked, still worried for her.
"Maybe" she said
Evan sighed softly and sat on the bed next to Betty.
She sighed grabbing her wrist
Evan sat quietly, watching as Tyler worked.
She took her pulse to see she was still breathing
Evan bit his lip. He was fairly certain Betty still had a pulse as he hadn't felt any pain or discomfort in his chest.
Tylerput her head to Betty's chest
Evan watched silently, barely even moving… He could almost be mistaken for a statue at this point.
" yeah she's in a sleeping curse" she said
Evan nodded, slightly relieved. ”How do we break it?”
" you can't " Tyler said
Evan furrowed his brow thoughtfully. ”Then who do we need to get?” he asked, stubbornly determined not to give up.
Lysander slowly walked back towards the room, wiping his eyes.
" you have to wait it out" she said
“Wait it out?” Evan echoed in shock. “For how long?”
Lysander looked at the two, likewise surprised by the news.
Tyler shrugged
Evan let out a long breath, running a hand through his hair. ”Is there anything that you can tell us about this curse that might help Betty?” he asked, almost feeling like he was grasping at straws.
Lysander leaned despondently against the wall. ”This is my fault. I suggested that she stay home one more day before she goes to work because I was going to miss her…” he said, sounding a little depressed.
Tyler sighed " no she'll wake up on her own shes in a sleeping state she can sleep walk and have nightmares and dreams" she said
Evan nodded, accepting that answer. ”Thank you,” he sighed, ”for coming out here and helping us.”
Lysander rubbed his forehead, still beating himself up over this. If she had been at work, this wouldn't have happened.

Evan smiled a little at the news. Maybe we can talk her out of it… Like with coma patients.
Lysander looked up slightly and walked over to the bed before kneeling beside his wife. ”Betty… If you can hear me… I just want you to know how sorry I am.” he said solemnly. ”If I hadn't talked you into staying home today… this wouldn't have happened to you. This is my fault.” he started as a few tears escaped. He wasn't expecting her to wake up to his apology but he just needed to say it.
