Yeah, trying is a good thing. My mom likes to say just pretending counts right? so maybe you can just pretend.
I mean is doesn't but it's the thought that counts.

I can totally get that… I would never acknowledge time and space if I had unlimited books to read.
Also heya andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)! How's it going?

@saor_illust school

LMAO andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)
i uh
may or may not have gone to bed at 3am

i assume i woke up groggy and proceeded to turn off my alarm and go back to bed

I wish I had unlimited time for books! Things are going well here; Portland's air quality is terrible from the wildfires so we've pretty much been relegated inside (moreso than normal!), but at least that gave me the little kick I needed to pick up a new book. :)

@SupernaturalSyGuyEdt I'm only ~120 pages in, but it's good so far!

@saor_illust school

wait you live in portland???
stay safe andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) !!
yeah, i've heard that it's dangerously unsafe down there with the air
it's not so bad up here in washington, but yknow

Oh damn, andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)!! I was just in Idaho for a wedding(Boise area) and it was bad enough there, I don't even want to think about how bad the fires and the smoke must be in Portland! D: Stay safe!

@larcenistarsonist group

How have I just now found this? I'm a nihilistic insomniac which freaking sucks because I tend to stare at my ceiling at 4AM and think about how useless life is………. I guess I'm just an average Gen Z kid.

@larcenistarsonist group

ohmygod i hate where i live so much. i'm a closeted pansexual in a family of super religious people who will probably disown me for being LGBTQIAPK+ and i'm in an extremely religious town that will probably kick me out :'D

@larcenistarsonist group

I dunno, I was already not allowed in a choir at my high school because there was a rumor going around that I was gay (i didn't deny it, the rumor died after a few months though) and the choir director (who is extremely and painfully homophobic) didn't even listen to my audition and let five mormon girls in over me haha im not bitter not one bit I don't have a problem with the religion, I have a problem with the closed-minded people that fill it.

@saor_illust school

hi
i am quite slep deprived
but i am here to announce one thing and then go bc it seems like i'm interrupting smth
physically? yes, i do live in washington (the state)
but mentally, i live in europe somewhere
haven't quite figured out the exact timezone yet tho

@Relsey-TheElder

As A member of said church, I whole hardheartedly agree with you.
I have no problem with the religion the religious leaders the beliefs. I go to seminary I is good child.
I just wish that I wasn't accompanied by a bunch of not nice people who are closed minded and wont even think of engaging in a polite conversation about certain subjects and are just the worst.
Honestly the hardest part about church was always having to interact with people so quarantine has made my religious life a lot easier.
I mean I have met people whom I love and adore but I've also met a lot of people whom if given the option I would never speak to again.
I wish some people would look at what their religion is saying and actually do it instead of being close minded and rude.
That was a bit of a rant oops.

Yes! I totally agree with you! My mom is LDS and I went to an LDS church until I was seven (we moved and I never got back into it). I was never baptized, so I'm technically not a member, but all of my cousins and aunts and uncles and my grandparents are part of the church. I have never had a problem with the belief or their practices, it just wasn't for me. I personally don't believe in a god or a higher power, but I hardly really express that. My grandparents are painfully traditional and close-minded and homophobic, but I never speak out against them because I was always told to respect them and to be quiet. One of my best friends in the entire world is LDS and when I came out to him a few months ago, he gave me a big hug and that was when he told me that he saw me as a sister i cried and I also came out to my cousin-best-friend (she's also extremely religious) who also gave me a big hug, told me she supported me, and then we watched A Very Potter Musical. It's just when I was talking to my grandparents a few weeks ago, they asked me if I had seen the new Mulan movie, and I had. My grandma asked with so much disgust in her voice "Oh, did they make her gay?" and I shook my head and said "Would it matter, I wouldn't care if they did." and she said "But God said it's wrong!" and I replied with "No grandma, God tells you to love everyone regardless of who they are, you're just looking for an excuse to hate." and I went upstairs to watch Queer Eye. yeah I got grounded

I don't know where I was going with this but it feels good to just rant this…. (sorry everyone who reads this who didn't want to ':–:')

thank you :DD yeah i am wayyyyyy too mentally exhausted for a normal high school girl and i have wayyyyyy too much to say, but i can never say it out loud.

@Relsey-TheElder

See, I find that the general safe age range of probably good and open minded is like 0-20, from 20-40 is maybe, then from 40 up it's just pain trying to communicate new idea's Also to your grandma.
The official from church leaders information is (In a much more proper way) "Go ahead and be gay, ya just can't do the dirty"
Like that is legit the actual protocol I do not understand where people get, "If it Gay it EVILLLLL" Because that has never been said, like ever.
