Charlie switched back towards the French accent. "Those Americans and their odd phrases! Don't they know that baguettes and croissants are true food!" She laughed and leaned back against her chair, trying to catch her breath.

"Dude, I need to catch my breath," Nathan objected, while grabbing another candy bar. He was pretty sure his face was red, as it always was after a long laugh. He still had a smile on his face as he looked at Charlie.

Yeon chuckled and shrugged his shoulders. “Whatever you want. I’ll find a way to cope.”

“I never said that,” Yeon said with a grin, running a hand through his hair.

"Oh." Rose said. "Well… I guess I don't really know much about karate, then."

Jay chuckled. "That's fine. What about you? Do you do any extra curricular stuff?"

"Um.. Not really. I dance, sometimes. I read… I run. I love running. And of course, my violin." she recited, ticking them off on her fingers.

"You're a lot more athletic than me, then. I can't run at all." Jay shook his head as he spoke.

"Running is my second favorite thing, next to music, of course." she laughed a little. "And yet I'm still not athletic, in many ways."

"Looks like we're even then. At least, music and athletic wise." Jay tried to explain, but failed miserably.

"Huh, I Guess." Rose laughed at his bad explanation.

Jay chuckled along awkwardly, taking out his phone so he could get rid of his notifications.

Jay nodded, pulling up his legs and sitting criss-cross in his seat by habit. "I always feel rude when I look at my phone in a public place. Dunno why."

Dove shook her head, "How can you not recognize affection? I can see it."

Yeon gave a loose shrug. “I don’t get into many real relationships, that’s all.”

"Relationships can mean different things. For example," she took his hand, "A friend relationship. We're real friends, right?"
