( SHIIIPPPPP!)
( SHIIIPPPPP!)
(Would that be okay Ca1iCa1?)
(Yup! Orion is pretty lonely, most people avoid him back home because he doesn't think the same way as everyone else.)
(I. Need. To. Put. My. Character. In. The. Roleplay.)
( Who else is there to ship??)
(Just Orion and Shade thus far. But go ahead and find them Nerd Girl.)
( Can I get a list of people??)
(Cicada-Pan
Jamie-Gay
Susan-Pan
Bill-Lesbian
Shadow-Ace
Riku-Bi
Zoe-Straight)
( Its fine, ZOe don't need no man!)
(I didn't know her sexuality sorry! You can tell me and add it in if you want!)
(Straight.)
(Fixed it.)
Jamie stood awkwardly off to the side while this was happening. He finally turned to where Shadow had stood, his hand longing to hold his dagger. Even if it had no effect on people here, where he was from, people feared it. Luke had put the mark of a Hunter on it, and everyone knew what that meant on HH~43754. A spirit/soul killer. He was startled for a second when he realized that Shadow was gone, but a scowl soon replaced the look of shock.
(Shadow's long gone. Sorry if that wasn't clear.)
(I sort of fixed it, I'm not completely sure if the wording makes sense though)
(Looks good.)
Shade's body calmed and still purring she whispered to Orion, "Thank you."
His soft reply of, "Anytime you need me." Continuing to purr, those present feel at ease.
The feeling of Peace.
"I hope you don't take back those words," Shade softly laughed, "With my life I might need you often."
A soft smile, "I get the feeling that we might be here a while. Once this blows over, you could always come to the Haven with me. Anyone can go there, work, learn, live. Being alive is one thing, but living is a different beast all together."
"I don't think I could," Shade responded, "I couldn't leave Shadow here all by his lonesome."
Something dawned on Shade, "Speaking of Haven I need to show you guys something," Shade got up and began to leave the room, "Follow me."
~~~~~
Cicada shrugged and followed after Shade.
Orion followed, pausing briefly to put his book in his bag. Padding after her, he smiled to himself.
Shade lead the group into the library. Once there she lead them to a specific section of books, "Pick a book and read the first page."
~~~~~
Cicada picked up a book titled The Fire Stolen. She opened up the book, read the first page, dropped it, "No way. That's not possible. Why am I in a book?"
Orions soft, "I already have mine. It only covers this life though, none of the others or multiverse theory. For the record, multiverse theory is real y'all. Now you know."
"What's the multiverse theory?" Cicada asked.
~~~~
Shade face palmed. Why was she chosen to come?
Orion thought for a moment. "Depends which version you think of. The most common interpretation is that for every choice or action a person takes, a new universe splits off from the universe that the event occured in. You can think about it as broad as saving the world, or to anatomical changes in the structure of anything. Mom taught me to travel them, it's pretty cool." He seems perfectly fine with this.
"Oh," Cicada responded. She picked the book back up and began to read it. Shade knocked it out of her hand, "Hey!"
~~~
"That's you future," she glared at Cicada, "And while the multiverse theory is true. This place doesn't apply. Here there is no alternate universe with all the choices you didn't make. It's just dead in the water."
"Well that's boring," Jamie said, picking up a book. "And, even though I've been to other dimensions and know that the theory is true, wouldn't there be a universe where it isn't?"
"If your talking about the academy," Shade sighed, "It's in a pocket dimension of its own. That's what gives Shadow complete control over the school. While your in here, your own universes have been frozen in place."
"That seems a little dramatic. What happens when we die? Do our dimensions unfreeze or are they forever "locked away in permanent slumber"?" He quoted the last part, hoping that the other dimensions had Panic! and would understand his reference.
