Nix growled almost inaudibly, clinging tightly to Halm's arm. Cas yawned a bit and closed his eyes, huddling closer to Zachary with a quiet sigh.

Zachary kept from looking at Nix at all, knowing if he did he'd start trembling. He held Cas lightly, not daring to kiss him again. Even if he did want Cas to feel it this time. Halm lifted his arm to wrap across Nix's chest. Now wasn't the time.
"Later," he promised quietly in Nix's ear.

Nix nodded and reluctantly backed off, still very annoyed. Later we can make him regret it…

Halm held Nix close, running his finger over where Nix had dug his fingernails in. It didn't really hurt, so there was nothing wrong. Zachary had frozen, having heard Halm. They were right next to each other, after all.

Cas hadn't heard them and seemed to be close to falling asleep. He yawned again, shifting to be more comfortable.

Zachary rubbed Cas's back, terrified of what would happen to himself if Cas fell asleep and left him alone with the others. He swallowed thickly.
Halm watched Zachary and Cas closely.
"Why don't we get you back to bed," he said gently to Cas. To get him away from Zachary.

"Mmkay…" Cas huddled a bit closer to Zachary, sighing softly. Nix watched the two of them closely, clearly still suspicious and angry.

Zachary wrapped his arms around Cas, picking him up hesitantly to bring him to the bedroom. Oh shit, oh shit, he was going to die, wasn't he? Halm stood as well, just picking Nix up with him to follow.

Cas was blissfully oblivious of the situation and just seemed to be comfortable and content now. He'd mostly recovered from his little episode by now.

Zachary carried Cas into the bedroom, so very much aware of Halm and Nix trailing close behind. He set Cas down, going to try to crawl into bed with him.

Nix allowed it, knowing they would have to wait until Cas fell asleep to be able to take Zachary out of the room without him. Cas huddled up against him for warmth, smiling softly.

Zachary carefully positioned himself with Cas. If he managed it be on a place where he couldn't be moved without disturbing Cas. Halm watched, lips pressing together.

Cas soon drifted off to sleep in Zachary's arms. "Zachary. Come with us." Nix said after he was sure that Cas was actually asleep.

Zachary trembled at Nix's words.
"I-if I move, Cas'll wake up…" Halm stepped forward, scowling. He placed his hand lightly on Cas's forehead.
"Not now, he won't," he said. The moment he took the hand away, his influence over Cas would end. But for now, Cas wouldn't awaken for anything.

Nix kept his piercing gaze on Zachary, watching him expectantly. His tail swished from side to side and his ears were pricked up, almost like he was hunting Zachary.

Zachary blanched. He wasn't getting out of this. He shakenly pulled away from Cas, standing and looking at his feet. Halm gently too his hand away from Cas. He was going to let Nix have his way with Zachary first.

"We should probably go to another room. Somewhere Cas can't hear." Nix said dryly, keeping his eyes on Zachary to make sure he didn't try anything.

Halm nodded. He grabbed Zachary by the neck, leading him out of the room. He took Zachary out of the house entirely. There was no way Cas could hear themn out here. He shoved Zachary down. Zachary was trembling, keeping his eyes on the ground as he kneeled there. He was going to die.

"You're a bastard, you know that?" Nix kicked Zachary over onto the ground and pinned his chest with one foot. "You know what he's been through with relationships, and you're taking advantage of his vulnerability. You disgust me." He turned his ears back and gritted his teeth as he kicked Zachary hard in the side. "He's delicate. He doesn't know how to say no. He likes feeling needed, and you're using him just like everyone else. You're lucky he would crumble to pieces if you disappeared or we'd kill you in an instant."

"M sorry sir, I-I'm sorry…" Zachary put his arms over his head, curling up as best he could. He didn't try to argue, to say he didn't want to take advantage of Cas. That he really did want Cas to be safe. He whimpered as Nix kicked him, unable to hold back a grunt as he was attacked. Halm stood back, letting Nix do what he needed to before dealing with Zachary himself.

Nix kicked him again. "He trusts you despite everything he's been through. You don't deserve that. You're just like the rest of them. Disgusting." He grabbed the collar of Zachary's shirt and dragged him up to his level. "I don't care what your intentions are, fish. One way or another, you're going to end up hurting him, and believe me you will regret it even more than you're regretting your actions now."

"Y-yessir," Zachary said quickly. He coughed heavily, a little blue tinted blood dripping from the corner of his mouth. "I-I'm s-sor-ry sir…" He didn't dare let himself cry. That would just be more damning. And Halm was capable of so, so much worse.

"Don't you dare try anything. Cas is unbelievably delicate, and one wrong move can and will set him off. If I hear you've upset him in any way, I will raise hell. If you do anything that makes him uncomfortable, rest assured that you will regret it." He released Zachary's shirt collar and watched him tumble down to the ground. "Your turn, Halm." He stepped back, eyeing Zachary with disgust.

Zachary fell heavily to the ground, curling up as he kept coughing up blood. Halm stepped forward, murder in his eyes. He bent down, grabbing Zachary by the front of his neck and pulling him to his feet.
"Thankfully it takes a lot to kill a god," he said lowly.

Nix stood near Halm, but slightly behind him, watching quietly. He crossed his arms and turned his ears back as he growled softly at Zachary.

Zachary couldn't help but claw at Halm's hand, wheezing as he tried to breath. Halm forcefully threw Zachary onto the ground, who just laid there. He was crying now, knowing Halm would kill him now.

"Don't kill him, Halm." Nix said dryly. "Cas would be devastated and we'd be left to pick up the pieces. It's not worth ruining him further." He stepped forward and glared at Zachary. After a second or two, he placed one foot on his chest and kept pressing down until he heard a sickening crack. "That should do the trick. Broken ribs are painful, fish. Careful not to let Cas notice or you'll be right back here."

Zachary let out a wheeze, still terrified of what would happen in he screamed.
"Y-ye-es si-ir," he managed to force out. Oh god, it hurt.
"It's what he deserves," Halm mumbled, but he backed off none the less.

"I agree, but we can't do that to Cas. It's not worth it." Nix turned around and walked back into the house, his tail swaying behind himself as he walked.

Halm followed after Nix, leaving Zachary where he was laying. Zachary dragged himself over to the pond, lowering himself in. It was too dangerous for him to change forms, and the water would only work to sooth the pain. It wasn't very good at healing him or his sister. His sister came out, human form, terrified.
