“Betty, nothing is going to happen to you.” Lysander promised, gently placing a hand on her arm. ”I would never harm you in a fight… I would never even get in to a fight against you.” he said. ”Why are you so worried about this all of a sudden?”
" forget it" she mumbled closing her eyes
”No, Angel, please. What's wrong? Did you see something?” he asked, starting to worry.
Sh3 ignored him shuffling farther away
”Don’t shut me out, my love.” he begged softly. ”Do you still think I'll be happier as a human than spending eternity with you?”
" yes" she said
He shook his head, feeling like they’ve been over this ten times by now. ”I can promise you I wouldn't be. You are the most important part of my life and there is nothing in heaven or earth that can make me happier than being with you. I know I complained about being a vampire before but now that I'm not… I miss it.”
She shook her head
”Betty, you know I would never lie to you.” he reminded her gently. ”Are you still scared about the vision you showed Evan?”
She shook her head
”Then what is it, my love?” he asked softly, reaching for her.
She stayed quiet
”Please, tell me.” he begged as he touched her shoulder.

He raised a brow slightly at that. ”How would me becoming a vampire again break your heart?” he asked gently.
" you'll leave me" she said
”Never.” he promised faithfully. ”Not in a million years.”
" promise?" She asked turning to face him
”Cross my heart.” he smiled softly. ”And just because I can right now, I swear to God that I will never leave you. Regardless of what I am or become.”
She smiled softly caressing his cheek
He smiled lovingly back and leaned into the touch.
" i love you " she said
”I love you too, my angel.” he answered sincerely, leaning a little closer to her.
She smiled softly
He smiled gently back and lightly kissed her cheek.
she closed her eyes and layed her head on his shoulder very lightly
He gave a soft hum and gently pulled her closer.
She kissed his forehead
He smiled and kissed her cheek. ”I love you, my angel.” he whispered in her ear.
