Brad watched her shut the bathroom door in his face, and stiffened up a little. He definitely wanted to go see Maggie. Caroline's mood swings were getting harder to deal with. Especially this morning. It was strange, and he had a feeling there was something he was missing.
Caroline walked out in a black dress that stopped mid thigh and the sides were cut out she had black wedges a bit of makeup and a blue jean jacket her hair was pulled up in a ponytail
Brad had taken notice of what she was wearing, and smiled lightly. She was really pretty. Even in something pretty simple. "You look nice. Is that for dinner tonight, or just casual wear?"
She sighed " we've just been really busy and stressed and I've been feeling a little upset and I just wanted to show you I can still look pretty" she said looking down
"But you always look pretty, Caroline." Replying rather quickly, he kept up a soft smile as he came up to her. He carefully took her hand in his own, and tipped her chin up. It was such a gentle manner, and he knew it. "And I truly do mean it. Between wearing pajamas or a nice dress, you look gorgeous."
She smiled softly at her fiance " I love you Brad Hoax"
When she spoke, he couldn't help but smile in return. Pulling her closer to himself he gently kissed her forehead. "I love you too, Caroline Woods. You're the only girl I'll ever truly love like this."
She placed her forehead on his shoulder wrapping her arms around his lower abdomen ""Forever?"
"As long as I'm physically capable, to love someone." He whispered, resting his head against hers. His smile was soft and tone gentle when he spoke.
" I will always love you" she said
Carefully he kissed the top of her head, starting to pull back just the slightest bit. "I love you most. My darling, Caroline Woods."
" even if your father doesn't?" She asked hopeful
"I've loved you this long, why would his opinion change my mind?" He asked softly, taking her and leading her back to the bed. "Come on, I promise you. You trust me, right?"
She nodded " of course I can" she said
"Right, so don't let anyone tell you otherwise. They speak lies." He hummed softly, sitting on the edge of the bed. "I'm always going to love you- no matter the fights we have."
"really?" She asked holding his hands
"Of course. I'll say it over and over if I have to." He told her lightly, gently kissing the back of her hand. "I really, truly love you."
" I love you too" she said " so much
"I love you the most, Caroline." He hummed softly, grinning up to her.
She smiled softly leaning on his shoulder
With her leaning up against him, he kissed her cheek lightly. "I don't want to sound like a broken record, but can we try to go see Maggie? You know how good she is with anything medically related."
" this isn't medical Brad and im. Just as good I've actually been trained by nurses and doctors but no one takes that into consideration " she said walking out of the room
