"Of course. Just be careful with it." Phoenix told her lightly, starting to head up to the building. He kept a light smile up, and continued in a mostly joking tone. "You know how attached I am to my car."
"Of course. Just be careful with it." Phoenix told her lightly, starting to head up to the building. He kept a light smile up, and continued in a mostly joking tone. "You know how attached I am to my car."
Cicada laughed as she made her way towards his car. She unlocked it from a distance as she gave him a light wave before calling out to him, "I know. I'll see you soon?"
"Five minutes, tops." Phoenix called back, turning around so he was facing the building. Jogging up to the door, he pulled it open with a light smile, and quickly made his way to his dorm in silence.
Cicada continued to smile until he disappeared into the building. It fell only slightly as she into the car on the passenger side before locking it once more. Just to be safe. Since she was inside she could unlock it to get out."
Very quickly he walked into the room, straight for his backpack. Picking it up, he pulled a pair of sweat pants and a simple t-shirt from his dresser. Grabbing his toothbrush, he quickly put it in a container and tossed everything in his bag and zipped it up. Throwing it over his shoulder, he was in and out as quickly as he had said.
Cicada watched the dorm door and ignored some of the strange looks given by other students though most didn't care. Once she spotted Phoenix she unlocked the door and stepped out of the car before locking it again. She assumed they weren't driving to her dorm, "Hey!"
Glancing up, Phoenix felt a smile pull up at the sound of her voice. He adjusted the straps of his backpack and quickly came up to her. "Hey! Ready to head over?" He hummed lightly, reaching out to take his keys from her.
"Ready as I'll ever be," Cicada told him as she dropped the keys into his hands. She put one hand on the strap of her bag before offering a hand to Phoenix to hold, "It's not like you haven't been in my dorm before."
Phoenix smiled and nodded a little at her statement. "That's true. I just thought it would be rude if I started walking without you asking." Shrugging a bit, he dropped his keys in his pocket and held on to her hand. "Lead the way, madam."
"I guess it would seem a little rude," Cicada laughed a little as she started walking towards her dorm with Phoenix in hand. She shrugged slightly before smiling over at him, "But not that rude. Have everything you need?"
"Most likely. If I'm missing something, I can run back, or just live without it. It isn't the end of the world." Phoenix hummed, giving her a smile. He seemed slightly absent minded, swinging their arms back and forth.
Cicada laughed a little as she leaned against him. She needed a rock to lean on at the moment and Phoenix was the best rock she could ask for at the moment, "Or if it's something I have you can just borrow it."
"That's true. I don't think I'll have to steal anything of yours, though. Not tonight at least." Phoenix told her, carefully wrapping an arm around her. With her volunteered nuzzling up he felt a little more at ease to hug and touch her.
Cicada smiled up at him and shrugged lightly. She knew that this cuddly feeling would only last for so long and figured Phe might enjoy more affection from her end of the relationship, "We'll see. Maybe later you'll have to steal something of mine."
"Hmm? What's that?" Phoenix hummed softly as he enjoyed his couple minutes of affection. He knew he needed to soak it up now, before she pulled away. He hoped that wouldn't be too soon. "Anything specifically?"
"I mean you already have my heart," Cicada commented off-hand with a loving smile. It was kind of true, what was left of her broken heart did belong to Phe at this moment. She hummed before continuing, "But I think you're too big for any of my hoodies no matter how baggy they are."
Phoenix felt his face flush, and nodded a little bit. He had walked straight into that. Sighing softly, he lifted his head just a little. "Right… I'm quite the bit taller than you. Besides that, I might actually be able to fit in them."
"You think? Mind if we try that out tonight?" Cicada asked a tease imminent in her voice. She enjoyed teasing him when possible and she looked around to check if they were close to his dorm.
"I… I mean…" His face was quite the bit flushed as she continued to tease. He wasn't sure what to do, feeling more and more embarrassed. "I… I guess, if you… you want to."
"I think it would be fun! You know, instead of the girlfriend stealing the boyfriend's sweatshirt we do the opposite. Or both, both is good with me," Cicada continued to tease him. She found him adorable when flustered.
"Mm… right. Yeah- if… if you want to," Phoenix mumbled a little, glancing anywhere but her. After sucking in a deep breath and relaxing, his face was still pretty flushed. "Though, I don't have a hoodie with me right now."
"I kinda figured," Cicada told him watching him carefully. She had a soft smile on as she saw he wasn't looking at her and figured that was so he didn't get more flustered, "So maybe sometime soonish I can go to your dorm and steal one? Invited of course."
Glancing over his shoulder to her, he felt a little smile pull up. "Maybe, just maybe." He hummed softly, feeling less flustered as he leaned over closer. "Though I'd suggest doing it over the weekend when my roommates are out. They'll probably bug me about it, if they see you."
"We can do that," Cicada let him lean further against her. She hummed a little and smiled up at him happily, "Before or after our date? I'm fine with either."
"Mm… maybe before. I'll let you wear it on the way up to where we're headed." Phoenix smiled lightly, kissing her cheek sweetly. He seemed to have recovered pretty quickly from earlier. "I bet you'd be pretty cute."
Cicada began blushing now having the tables turned on her. She let out a little laugh as she rubbed her neck with her free hand, "Um yeah I probably would be. Oh hey look it's my dorm." She quickly added on seeing her building.
Phoenix glanced up, noting mentally her dorm was right ahead. But he didn't mention it much, as he continued talking. "Mm, yeah. You were pretty cute the other night. Y'know, when we had our drinking festivities."
"Oh? I was?" Cicada asked him her blush growing redder. She had been drunk and even though it had been a few days a good part of the evening was still hazy to her. She tried to be coy but it didn't work out as planned, "I mean, I was drunk so how cute could I have been."
"Mm, pretty cute, if my memory is correct. Then again, I already liked you. So I may be exaggerating things just a bit." Phoenix hummed a little, kissing her once again before standing up straight. The building was right ahead, and he didn't want to give anyone the wrong impression.
Cicada reached ahead to open the door for both of them not looking at Phoenix so her blush didn't get any redder. She got the door open before turning back to Phe, "If you say so, um, come on in."
