He blinked, considering the question for a long moment. "Oh. Uhm…I don't know." He replied, cocking his head faintly.
He blinked, considering the question for a long moment. "Oh. Uhm…I don't know." He replied, cocking his head faintly.
(??)
(0_0 sorry im not replying so much !! school is kicking my ass)
Jude leaned back in his seat, chewing his lip. "Hmm, well, anyways," He murmured, "I hope it goes well with them. They're pretty talkative, but hopefully they don't suspect anything."
(oh the ?? Wasn't for you! Wolfy had accidentally posted a reply to this RP instead of theirs)
"I hope so too." He said softly. "What…what would happen if they did find out, though?" He looked up at Jude.
(ohhh ok :)
Jude let out a long sigh. "Well…" He began, trying to think of the best-case scenario. His friends were not the type to go running to the authorities, but involving them in any way felt wrong and far too risky to wholly consider. "They wouldn't tell, no," He shook his head, "They'd argue, probably. Maybe convince you to leave the country,"
( :) )
He frowned a little bit. "Why? Why would they want me to leave the country?" He asked, not quite understanding why they would want that to happen.
Jude shrugged, casting a long glance around the subway car before lowering his voice, "Cause it might get me– or even them in trouble." He thought of how some of them would react if they told them the truth, supposing that for the most part, it really wouldn't help. "I mean, telling them wouldn't do anything except make them worry or end up doing something stupid."
He studied Jude for a moment, then nodded. "Oh. Okay." He said softly, closing his eyes for a moment and leaning against Jude.
Jude nodded, softening his shoulders and leaning back in his seat, humming for a quiet moment. "Did you say you wanted to watch a movie when we get back?" He asked, wondering if blankets and warm drinks would be a nice way to spend the afternoon if the rain persisted.
"Oh, yeah!" He agreed quickly. "That would be nice." He smiled happily, looking over at Jude.
"Okay," Jude smiled, running an affectionate hand through Nyx's hair, "You choose this time. Pick something you find interesting." He let out a quiet laugh, "My friends never let me choose what movie we should watch. They say that Blade Runner gets a little boring after the fifth rewatch. I always disagree."
Nyx nodded a little, smiling happily up at Jude. "Okay." He agreed, leaning into the touch with a soft breath. "What else are we going to do tonight?"
Jude hummed, tilting his head to the side as he smiled at Nyx. "Whatever you feel like. I don't want you to feel like we gotta do every little thing I want," He said with a gentle shrug, feeling the train slowly begin to slow, "We can do whatever you're curious to try."
(sghsgdhsh Nyx like "I wanna try S E X" and Jude just choking like "wtf")
Nyx nodded a little bit. "Okay." He hummed very faintly as he tried to decide what to do, cocking his head to the side.
(gggghahha asking in public; the looks he would get "what? what did i say"// btw whats ur profile pic, I'm curious. a croc?)
Jude nodded thoughtfully as he felt the train slow to a stop. "Yeah, you plan the rest of the day," He said with a smile, getting ready to get off with the rest of the passengers as he glanced out the window, "This is our stop. It looks like they've got umbrellas out on the platform. Might be raining outside."
(dghsdbfjghb yess // It's a little girl riding a crocodile and the text on the bottom says "Ponies are for Pussies" lmao)
Nyx nodded a little bit. "What if I wanted to try sex?" he asked, quite innocently, but also very glad he couldn't blush. He blinked up at Jude, raising his eyebrows a little bit.
(cchhAHaH h0w did you come across it??? )
Jude was quick to grab Nyx's hand, shuffling out of the subway car as a few puzzled looks glanced their way. "Nyx," He said in a hushed tone, looking behind them before meeting his gaze with an uncertain smile, feeling himself blush, "We're in public."
(fhshdgdh I stumbled across it on WeHeartIt, actually lmao)
Nyx blinked up at him. "So?" He asked, a little uncertain as to why that mattered.
(Lmao stalking this never fails to make me smile XD)
(:D glad to be of service)
(ghahah)
Jude shook his head, looking back at the subway car as they walked onto the platform. "You can't really…You shouldn't really bring that stuff up in public," He said with a nervous laugh, "I mean you didn't know, but…It kinda makes people uncomfortable, right?"
(whoa i just realized we've had this rp for a year)
(:O oh my god it's so old–)
He cocked his head a little, eyebrows pulling together. "But…why? Doesn't most people do it? It's part of who people are, so what's the problem?" He seemed genuinely confused.
(0_0)
Jude shrugged, hesitating at the steps up to the street. "It's just…not something we talk about freely. Maybe with friends, but not on the subway," He said with a bashful laugh, finding Nyx's confusion a little adorable, "It's a privacy thing."
(:O)
Nyx stuck out his lip a little in thought, nose wrinkled a little. "But…" He trailed off, shrugging a little. "It's not like anyone was taking any clothes off."
(XD this made me laugh all over again)
(xD glad to be of service!)
"I know, I know," Jude laughed, leaning against the mosaic wall as they spoke, eyeing the rain-drenched commuters coming down from the street, "I kinda get where you're coming from, but still. It's not something people usually talk about in public."
He scrunched up his face, still not quite understanding. "But…why? It's a natural human thing, right? So why are people so weird about it?" He cocked his head at Jude.
Jude sighed, shaking his head as he considered the question. "I think it comes from…maybe the fact that people were raised to keep certain things to themselves," He said, wondering if he was communicating his point the way he wanted, "I guess that different people have different ideas of what's…appropriate to discuss. From what they learned growing up– or what they believe in."
