i really wanna draw these two cuddlinggggg but i can't draw cats cuddling qwq))

Stormkit flopped down onto the ground. annoyed, out of breath, and now….hungry. Stormkit's belly rumbled as if to taunt him. he had caught 2 mice. 2 baby mice. the other 1 had scurried off and Stormkit ran after it and it threw itself down a hole in the ground, Stormkit tried to put his paw down the hole to capture and kill the baby mouse but alas, the hole was far too small for Stormkit's little paw. "Mouse-dung!" he grumbled standing up and turning away, Stormkit yelped in surprised as he fell into a bush, he had almost got lost but managed to follow his own scent trail back to the baby mice he had killed earlier and the cave. Stormkit grabbed the baby mice by their little pink tails and stormed back to the cave, he flicked his ear in annoyance as he thought of how happy Mistkit looked with Flamekit. at least it's some cat I actually know and not some stupid arrogant tom… Stormkit thought. after only a few minutes he was right back at the cave. it looked darker. more scarier. more….threatening…he hesitated to even enter, scared that he stumbled over towards the wrong cave but then he heard Mistkit's snoring from inside.
nevermind…this is the right cave.

"Hey," A voice said quietly behind him. "I just came to say I'm sorry. And I want to join you guys again." Stormkit whirled around to see Vixenkit, with a new nick in her ear.

Stormkit scanned Vixenkit, something seemed different but he couldn't place it. I mean, her fur seemed more ruffled and groomed messily. Stormkit nodded, not feeling like speaking because 1. Vixenkit seemed to want to claw his ears off from yesterday and 2. he was holding some prey he didn't wanna drop.

"Ah." She looked down, "You don't forgive me. Understandable."

Stormkit entered the cave, Vixenkit trailing a bit behind. Stormkit ignored Mistkit and Flamekit as they snored softly, cuddling together. Stormkit dropped the two baby mice down. He glared down at the prey as he sighed, the mice looked scrawny. Stormkit grabbed one of them and walked back into the corner where he slept last night. he ate the mouse in a few quick gulps and flicked his tail looking up at Vixenkit who was sitting in a corner, far away from him, grooming herself. Stormkit rested his head on his foreleg. StarClan….shes still pretty….if only I wasn't cursed with this dumb prophecy! maybe Vixenkit would still like me…?

little headcanon but like, Stormkit likes Vixenkit a whole lot and looks up to her mentally and physically despite Vixenkit being younger than him :T))

Mistkit lifted her head as Vixenkit and Stormkit padded into the cave. She nudged Flamekit gently as she got to her paws. "Psst," She whispered, "Time to get up." The she-kit padded over to the the other two and sat with her tail curled around her paws. "Hey."

Stormkit looked up at his sister, "h-hey, Mistkit." he shifted so he could sit up fully, "wanna go hunting or something? I just went hunting and didn't catch much, just a few baby mice… but im bored! and you've gone hunting before, right?" he noticed Mistkit smile and nod, "yeah!" she chirped, "Flamekit showed me how!" Mistkit gave a shy chuckle, "So….is that a yes?" "o-oh! uh, yeah! lets got hunting!" at least im with someone I can trust…

Mistkit glanced at Flamekit, then looked back at her brother. "Are we going now?" She asked, half hoping Stormkit would say no. She wanted to spend some more time with Flamekit.

Stormkit looked away from Mistkit, a little afraid that Vixenkit was looking over at him. "I mean… I guess, if you want…" secretly he was hoping Mistkit would agree to go so he could get out of the cave again.

"Oh. Uh, alright. Let's go." Mistkit padded out of the cave, looking back over her shoulder at Flamekit with a qiuet sigh. Sorry, Flamekit.

Stormkit sighed, speed walking past Vixenkit. "so! what should we do first?" he asked looking around, he noticed a bird flying up ahead, it landed in a tree. Stormkit huffed, how do you get a bird from out of a tree? he thought, thinking of diffrent ways to climb in a tree. he felt something bump into him and he bristled looking over at Mistkit who was looking at him with worried eyes. "h-huh? wha?" "Did you hear what I said, Stormkit? I said I can smell some prey over there in the bushes!" Stormkit chuckled, "oh, yeah right."

Mistkit tilted her head. "Are you okay? Something's wrong. Did I do something?"

Stormkit shook his head 'no.' "It's just Vixenkit." he mewed. "I don't know, but when I'm around her I get all fuzzy and weird! but now that we've had that fight im all scared and worried she'll do something! but shes still….still really pretty…." he shuffled his paws. "c-can we just go hunting now?" he asked ignoring the shocked look on Mistkit's face.

and then Vixenkits like, "hah, no. you're so funny! you are joking, right Stormkit?" "h-heh! yeah! a joke…." and then Stormkit realizes he'll be forever alone–))

Mistkit nodded, and crept quietly toward the bushes. Let's do this. She froze as the sounds of rustling leaves reached her ears. She leaped into the bushes, slamming her paws down on a pair of mice while a few others scattered.

Stormkit saw the mice and ran after the fattest mouse out of the bunch, Stormkit ran after the mouse, knowing he could catch it. Stormkit made sure he was more closer towards the prey when he jumped on the mouse, slamming his paw down on the mouse. Lifting his paw up he realized the mouse had broke free and he has caught a leaf. looking up he saw the mouse crawling into a hole into the ground. he huffed in annoyance as he clawed the ground in anger.

"Mouse-dung!"

Mistkit laid her prey at her feet. "It's okay, there's got to be some birds around here some where." She pushed the two mice she had caught toward him. "Let's bury these, and then I can show you how to catch a bird!"

Vixenkit let her shoulders relax as Mistkit and Stormkit left. The she remembered Flamekit was there and turned towards him. "So, you and Mistkit, huh?" She teased.
