"Actually the doors just lead to a big black swirling pit!" Kate tried to tell them again.

"Swirling death pit, even better!" Kaz said exasperatedly, moving to sit in one of the chairs

“Oh wonderful.” Destiny said sarcastically, “I should not have gone to the library today.”

"A library is like an island in a vast sea of ignorance." Jason said. Then he said darkly, "Right now that quote is quite literal. Except it's not a sea. It's a void."

“Oh dear.”

"Yeah…"

“So… what now?” Destiny asked as uncomfortable silence hugged them.

"Well we search for clues!" Kate exclaimed.

“… clues?”

"That's gonna take too long, Kate."He said calmly while sounding uninterested.

"Yeah!" Kate responded, "As to why we were kidnapped."

“We were what now?” Destiny asked, “Kidnapped? I thought we just appeared here. Wait yeah we were probably kidnapped, speaking logically.”

"Oh my… what are we gonna do?" Jason replied.

“Exactly!” Destiny huffed.

Jason looked around. "At least we can still read! These books could last us forever."
