"Aww, but what if I wasn't?" Phoenix hummed, smiling a little. Gently he rested his head on top of hers, wrapping an arm over her shoulders. "Can I keep kissing you, are do I have to get you greasy?"

"You can keep kissing me," Cicada corrected herself with a big grin. She glanced up at him happily leaning against him, "The grease was just an annoyance. I'm glad you don't have greasy lips."

"Mm, that's a weird sentence." Phoenix chuckled, kissing her a few more times. He kept up a light smile, nosing in to her hair. "Besides, I wouldn't want to mess up your hair. It smells really nice."

Cicada giggled as she let him do her thing. She could tell they were beginning to garner a little attention but ignored it in order to enjoy the moment. A light smile was on her face, "Oh it does? What does it smell like today?"

"Mm… apple? Maybe? I dunno." Phoenix mumbled lightly, kissing her one last time. Resting his head against hers, he was starting to feel more relaxed. Just getting to be close to her put him at ease. "But it smells nice."

"I'm glad," Cicada smiled up at her. She could tell he was relaxed and that made her relax a little bit. Though she wondered what was the cause, her? No that wouldn't be it, "Apple sounds about right."

"Mm, is it a new shampoo? Because I like this one." Phoenix mumbled as he nuzzled up closer. It was nice to stay close to her, though he knew he should probably give her space. He had found a good balance, and needed to keep it.

“Yep,” Cicada responded softly still adjusting to her cuddly boyfriend. She wasn’t uncomfortable yet, but she was beginning to get there, “If you like the smell so much I guess I have to keep using it then.”

Phoenix smiled lightly, starting to pull back. “That would be greatly appreciated. But you don’t have to, just for my sake. If you want to, I’m not gonna stop you.” He told her in a soft tone, kissing her cheek before eating.

"I really don't care," Cicada responded allowing him to pull back. She went to keep eating her pizza as she smiled over at him softly, "But it isn't bad and I can keep using it because you're giving me a reason to."

"Well, if you're sure." Phoenix hummed lightly, finishing off his pizza. Pushing his plate aside, he took a napkin to wipe his hands and face down. "I liked it just the same, when it smelled like strawberries."

"Eh, I can do both and switch off," Cicada shrugged as she finished up her own slices before reaching for another one still hungry. She gave him another side smile, "Like I said, it doesn't really matter to me."

"Mm, that's true. You'll always smell nice, then." Phoenix hummed, keeping up a light smile. Unlike Cicada he had filled up pretty quickly; so he didn't take any more. "But it'll be a surprise each time."

"That it will be," Cicada laughed as she took a big bite. She leaned back on her chair with a big grin on, "It'll be fun messing around with them, ya know, if that's okay."

"I mean, I don't have a problem with it. It's your hair," Phoenix hummed lightly, giving her a bright smile. Sipping from him lemonade he continued to smile. This was nice; the two of them just relaxing and having a good time. "I shouldn't really have an opinion in the first place."

"I, you really shouldn't," Cicada admitted as she kept her smile up. She sipped from her soda before taking another bite of the pizza slice. She silently scolded herself for falling back into her old mindset and blamed how relaxed she was as the cause, "Sooo if I went bald you wouldn't mind?"

"I mean, I'd be concerned why you were, but it wouldn't change my feelings towards you." Phoenix hummed a little, setting his empty cup aside. He gave her a soft smile as he sunk into his seat. "So overall, I wouldn't mind."

Cicada gave him a half smile as she finished up her pizza and drink. She leaned back in her seat as she kept smiling at him, "Good. Cause I'm shaving it tomorrow and then they'll be no more hair on her head."

"Oh, are you now?" Phoenix asked, not seeming to believe her. He kept up a look of disbelief, pursing his lips together. "Well, then what's the point in saying you'll use the shampoo I said I like?"

"Oh you know, for the fun of it and too get your hopes up," Cicada responded with a light smile. She knew she couldn't do anything with her hair as it would ruin the image she had created. Not that doing that was a bad thing, just something she couldn't afford to do.

"Well that's quite rude of you. I can't believe you would toy with me like that." Phoenix scoffed a little, clearly joking. He wasn't actually mad at her, and hoped she knew that. If not, maybe he could toy with her in return.

"Ohhhhh but it's so much fun to toy with you darling," Cicada smirked over at him knowing full well he was joking just as she was. She raised an eyebrow at him, "You can't disagree with me can you."

"I can, actually. I find it quite hurtful you would do that to me. I can't seem to believe it." Phoenix hummed as he crossed his arms over his chest. He kept a slight pout up, glancing over to her. "I don't think that's very nice of you."

"I, I guess so," Cicada responded some of the wind being taken out of her sails. She let out a sigh and forced herself to keep smiling as she looked at him, "Sorry."

"Wait- you don't… you don't actually think I'm upset, do you?" Phoenix asked softly, dropping his pout and crossed arms. His pouty look changed in to a more concerned one. "I'm not, if that's the case."

"I, fuck I knew that," Cicada scolded herself out loud as she moved to hold her head in her hands. She was even more frustrated with herself for falling back and further into that stupid mindset. She took a deep breath, "Sorry. I just, sorry."

"Hey- Cicada." Phoenix started softly, pushing out of his seat so he could kneel besides her. His worry was only growing the more she apologized. "What's wrong? Can I fix it?"

Cicada let her eyes shut as she took more deep breaths. She grew tense for a moment before relaxing a little and let out another sigh, "No, no you really can't. It's, this is on me and my stupid fucking head. Okay? Okay."

Phoenix wanted to do something- but decided against any kind of physical contact. She never really cared for that. "Alright… I'm here if you think of something. I'll do anything that I'm capable of."

"Do, do something Phoenix-y," Cicada didn't know exactly how to tell him what she wanted him to do, but she tried to nonetheless. She just, she needed a reminder that he wasn't there and she was safe. She let out a short laugh, "Sorry, I, I don't know how to describe it."
