”Recently. I was dying recently.” Lysander amended. ”And I’m grateful to you for saving me but I really don't mind if you need to take any of my blood. I’m not a vampire right now.”
Henry stayed quiet and let the two talk while he gently wrapped Betty's knee.
" I assure you I'm fine" she said
”No, you're not fine. Not if rubbing alcohol, of all things, still hurts.” Lysander pointed out gently. ”You need to drink… but I understand that you don't want mine right now. Especially with the vervain on me.”
”I can get you a bag after I finish.” Henry offered before reaching for her burnt hand.
She nodded closing her eyes
”Thank you, Henry.” Lysander smiled a little at his adoptive brother.
”No problem.” Henry smirked back before starting to treat Betty's wrist and working his way towards her fingers. ”So, do you want me to do this like a mitten or do you want to use your fingers?” he asked her.
" I would like my fingers" she said
”Ok.” Henry nodded and carefully started to wrap her hand so that her fingers were free.
She took a breath her hand throbbing
Henry looked up at her for a moment before refocusing on his work. He won't hesitate to say that his sister was a very unique vampire. Anyone else who was so hungry that everything hurt would be a few days away from a frenzy, at least… if not sooner.
She leaned her head away and coughed
“I’m almost done.” Henry said softly.
Henry looked up at her and quickly but gently finished wrapping her hand.
She nodded In appreciation
”I’ll be right back.” Henry promised as he stood up to get the bag he said he would.
Henry quickly ran off to the basement for the bag.
”How do feel?” Lysander asked softly, looking at her a little worried.
She opened her eyes softly and smiled
Lysander smiled softly back. ”Any lightheadedness?” he asked, gently running his fingers through her hair.
”Good.” he sighed a little in relief. ”Just in pain… All over?” he asked, remembering the symptoms from when he went through the same thing.
She nodded " but I'll be okay?" She asked him
”You’re cutting it close but you’ll be alright.” Lysander smiled at her.
”No kidding.” Henry piped up as he walked in the room. ”Bets, have you ever actually gone hunting?” he asked honestly as he handed her the bag.
"yes Alec was a phenomenal hunter " she said sadly
”Ah, right.” Henry mumbled, embarrassed that he forgot about her year in Australia.
Lysander stiffened a little at the mention of that psycho but closed his eyes and let out a deep breath to stay calm.
She closed her eyes letting tears fall down her cheeks
”I’m sorry.” Henry whispered, standing back up. ”Umm… Do either of you need anything else?”
Lysander shook his head and gently placed his hand on Betty's shoulder.
Betty looked at lysander with tearful eyes
”It’s ok, love. He can't get you anymore.” Lysander said gently, looking at her lovingly as Henry left the room.
She whimpered closing her eyes
