"Nmmhgh…" Cas trembled a bit more, and after another minute, he choked and threw up again. Finally, after a little while of this, he pulled away and seemed to relax. Nix held up his hand to Halm as a sign to stop.

Halm withdrew his hands.
"Better?" He asked gently. He offered Cas a cloth to clean himself up a little. He would do it himself, but figured Cas wouldn't want him to.

"I-I think so…" Cas sat back, rubbing at his mouth with the cloth while Nix rubbed his back. He closed his eyes, drawing in a few wavering breaths.

Halm carefully examined Cas. He seemed to be doing better now, at least.
"Here, I'll get you some water to rinse your mouth out." Halm turned, about to go to the sink to get a glass of water.

"Mmkay…" Nix sat down with Cas and hugged him to comfort him. "Do you feel better, at least?" He asked. Cas nodded a bit.

Halm held the water out to Cas, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Here, take this," he said softly.

"Thanks…" Cas sipped at the water idly, keeping his eyes closed as he leaned into Nix. Nix held Cas close, still trying to calm him down.

Halm wrapped one arm around Cas and Nix, sitting close to them. He rubbed Cas's arm lightly with one hand. He closed his eyes a moment, then opened them again. Things were going to be different now. First chance he got, he was going to Cas-proof the underworld.

Cas huddled close to both of them. "…I'm still not very hungry." He said softly. "That's alright, Cas. You can eat later, okay?"

(Mhmmmm)
"You don't have to push it." Halm stuck close to Cas, a bit protective. Alright, extremely protective. Cas had just died, could you blame him?
"We just want you to get better."

Nix nodded in agreement. Cas hummed weakly and relaxed a bit into Halm's and Nix's touch. "Can I go lay down again?" He asked. "Of course, Cas." Nix replied, getting up so that he could help Cas.

Halm stood as well, picking Cas up. He didn't want to stop Nix from helping Cas, but it w would be easier for Cas if he didn't have to walk anywhere. He started to carry Cas back to the bedroom, ready to lay down with him and do anything Cas needed him to.

Nix trailed after Halm worriedly, crawling onto the bed and huddling up with Cas when he was laid down. Cas sighed shakily and buried himself in the covers for warmth.

Halm laid down too, wrapping his arms around Nix and Cas. Now, Cas was gently sandwiched between Nix and Halm, nice and toasty.
"I'm sorry," Halm said again, barely lot enough to be heard.

"Mmm…" Cas closed his eyes, slowly relaxing with the help of Halm and Nix. Nix nuzzled against Cas, purring weakly to calm the both of them. "You're going to be alright, Cas." Cas nodded a bit, staying silent.

Halm gently curled around Cas a little, head resting above Cas's.
"We'll keep you safe," Halm continued off of what Nix said.

Cas nodded again. "Thanks…" Nix smiled weakly. "Of course, Cas. Your safety and happiness is our utmost priority."

Halm managed a smile too, just barely.
"We're gonna do everything we can for you." Halm closed his eyes partially.

Cas hummed in understanding and yawned a bit, steadily relaxing in their arms. Nix was clearly exhausted, but he was determined to stay awake to protect Cas.

"Nix," Halm said gently, "go ahead and get some sleep. You need it too." Halm raised one hand up to Nix's head, lightly petting him in an attempt to get him to relax enough to fall asleep.

"Mmmm… but what if he needs me…?" Nix asked softly. He closed his eyes and purred weakly when Halm started petting him.

"I'm here too," Halm said gently. "I can take care of both of you. I know today had been stressful for everyone…" Himself included, but Halm left that part out. He kept petting Nix, glad he was enjoying it.

Nix nodded a bit, his breathing growing more easy as he nuzzled into Halm's hand. After a few more minutes of trying to stay awake, he drifted off to sleep.

Halm sighed softly as Nix fell asleep. This was more than he had ever bargained for when he Claimed Cas. But, the thing was, he knew he wouldn't go back on what he had done. He would protect Cas and Nix with his eternal life. He tucked Nix in a bit more, keeping himself awake to make sure if Cas or Nix needed anything he could help them.

Nix yawned a bit in his sleep and clung to Cas, still protective of him even while sleeping. Cas sighed, nuzzling closer to him.

Even with Nix and Cas on the bed, Halm still dwarfed them in size. He was curled around them a bit.
"I'm sorry this happened," Halm said softly, feeling guilty. "It's all my fault."

Cas and Nix stayed asleep for now. After a while, Nix was the first to stir. He whined softly in his sleep, shifting around a bit on the edge of wakefulness.

Halm looked up from his short wallowing in his guilt to see Nix stirring. He gently cupped Nix's head, lightly running his hand over Nix's hair.

Nix purred quietly and soon opened his eyes to look up at Halm. He was still clearly sleepy and nuzzled against Halm's hand.

(Nix and Halm are starting to feel like Extremely Stressed and Protective Gay Dads^TM to Cas and I'm here for it XD)

"Hey," Halm said softly so as not to wake Cas. "You feeling better now?" He gently scratched Nix's head, managing a small smile.
