He gave her a small soft smile despite the worry still in his eyes.

Betty although she was unconscious could hear everything

Lysander sighed and looked up from the book, staring at the ceiling for a moment. ”Did I really love her that much?” he asked softly.

”What paragraph are you on?” Evan asked with a small smirk.

Betty was stuck in a nightmare but because she was unconscious she couldn't wake up

”Uhh… Page three.” Lysander answered, a little embarrassed that someone that was awake had heard him.

Evan chuckled. ”Wait until you get to get to the next page. If that doesn't spark your love for Betty back, then I don't know what will.” he said, with a faint blush.

Betty's ears twitched but still she did not awake

Lysander nodded and was about to turn back to the… ”love letter” when he noticed her ears twitching. He propped himself up slightly and reached over to gently touch the one nearest to him.

When he did he got a vision the two were curled up and she was asleep and he scratched behind her ears kissing her forehead and she was smiling in her sleep

Lysander pulled his hand back in surprise for a moment before smiling softly. He remembered that. Yes, the vision came from her but he could remember it clearly now. Deciding to try again, he leaned over and lightly kissed her cheek.

This was a sadder memory he had kissed her cheek as she walked by and went to the kitchen and he followed her to see her taking medication and they talked and he showed him her crescent shaped cuts in her palms

He frowned a little, remembering how concerned he was at that moment. He moved his hand to hold hers.

And yet another vision she was beautiful in her wedding dress her veil over her head her father lifted the veil and handed her over to lysander and the two looked at each other lovingly as they stood there with thier hands interlocked

He blinked back the tears that threatened to overflow his cheeks. His heart felt like it was going to burst from that memory… Just one more… he decided as he leaned over her, ignoring how much pain he was putting himself in, and kissed her lips.

That did it it was like a slideshow when they first met thier first kiss when they fought about Marie Betty saving him Betty dieing getting married moving in together Laurabeths birth Cole's birth her taking care of him him killing Alec for her her leaving crying over her everything

”Mon amour.” Lysander whispered. How could I have forgotten… he chuckled softly. ”I should have written to try that first.”

Betty unfortunately was still unconscious

”So, you remember?” Evan asked, a little hopeful for Betty's sake.

Lysander nodded slowly. ”Every moment.” he answered softly, kissing her cheek again.

" well that's great because she's in a coma" tyler said leaning against the door frame

Lysander looked up at Tyler, a little surprised by her arrival. Then again, when you go from being able to hear someone standing roughly fifty feet away to not noticing someone five feet away… he almost felt a little deaf. ”Any chance of her waking up?” he asked.

Tyler shook her head " when she turned you she banged herself up pretty good"

”But she is alive at least, right?” Lysander said, almost crying again.

" Lysander Betty still wants those papers signed it'll hurt to much to be with you knowing you're going to leave her one day and having the thing she never can" tyler said

“I won’t sign them.” Lysander promised. ”I love her too much to lose her… and I would never leave her.” he shook his head. ”I may be human right now but I think… I think she's still my soulmate.”

" your still going to die" Tyler said" later but still"

”I… I know.” Lysander admitted softly.

”Wait, I thought the plan was to just keep him human until Kameron’s bite was no longer a threat then turn him back to a vampire.” Henry raised a brow as he joined the group, standing behind Tyler.

"We never agreed on that" she said

Henry gave a small hum before shrugging. ”Alright, well, we can decide that now.” he pointed out. ”Who else is ok with that plan?”

" your not even giving him a choice he may want to keep his life" she said

“I’m asking everyone. Including him.” Henry pointed out.

Evan rolled his eyes at the two of them. “I don’t see why you’re rushing this decision.” he said calmly. ”Lysander still needs to fully heal first, then we have to determine whether or not it's safe to turn him. And, yes, ultimately it is his choice this time.”

”I’m hurt. Not unconscious.” Lysander groaned. ”I’d appreciate it if all of you stopped talking about me as if I wasn't here.”
