(Alright, I'll do that then!)
"Oh? And why's that?" Cicada asked going to hug him back. She didn't mind all the physical affection. Over the past couple of days, she had gotten used to it and, as far as she was concerned, she wasn't going to start lighting him on fire.
"Because I have a surprise for you. And I've been keeping it a secret all day." Phoenix hummed, nosing her cheek a bit. He was feeling super clingy- which wouldn't be a surprise to Cicada. Every time he had seen her since they confessed to each other, he had been that way when they first met up. After a couple minutes he'd get over it, but not right this minute.
Cicada let out a laugh as she accepted his affection. She nuzzled him back a little because while she wasn't a touchy person, she could at least return the little touches. Most of them. Some of them, "You have? Wonder what it is."
"Mm, you want me to tell you?" He asked lightly, pecking her cheek softly before starting to pull back. Though he didn't really want to, he had a feeling she probably wanted her personal space. "Or would you rather me wait?" Phoenix teased lightly, taking her hand and linking their fingers together.
"Well, it's your surprise what do you want to do?" Cicada asked him silently glad that he was pulling away ever so slightly. She gave his hand a little squeeze as she smiled happily at him, "I'm fine with either."
"Mm, then I'm telling you now." Phoenix hummed, smiling softly at her. "I thought that you and I could take a day trip this weekend. Just me and you, and we could go to dinner together. As our first 'official' date." He told her softly, still smiling brightly.
"I, that sounds amazing Phoenix," Cicada told him her smile getting bigger and wider. She paused a moment before giving him a big hug unable to help herself at this moment, "Thank you, I guess."
Phoenix grinned back, holding her close. "Of course. We don't have to do it this weekend if you're not up for it. We can always push it, this isn't time sensitive." He hummed a little, letting her go after a couple of seconds.
"I, this weekend should work. Unless I get hit hard with assignments on Friday," Cicada told him letting go as well. Her cheeks began to hurt from smiling so much and she really wanted to kiss him again, "I'll let you know if anything happens."
"Alright, lovely. It looks like we're going out this weekend." Phoenix chirped a little, booping the tip of her nose. "Now that I told you- I'm not feeling as bubbly. Odd, isn't it?"
"If you think so," Cicada laughed her face scrunching up a little at the nose boop. It was a natural reaction to what he did and she shook her head a little, "I don't think so. But now I'm all bubbly."
Phoenix chuckled lightly, before taking her hand once more. "You wanna find something to do, to get your energy out?" He asked her softly, smiling down at her. "Or do we just want to hang around here for the day?"
“I would love to find a way to get this energy out,” Cicada replied as she let him take her hand. She had a slight smirk to her smile, “Whatcha got in mind?”
"Nothing in particular. But I can come up with something." Phoenix hummed with a little smile, leading her on. "What sounds like fun to you? Any sort of activities you want to do?"
"Mmmm I got nothing," Cicada replied letting him lead her on. She had a ha[[y smile on as she followed him along before catching up and walking with him, "We could always go somewhere like… A place."
"Very specific," Phoenix snickered a little, leaning over to kiss her cheek. "Do you want to get something to eat, or drink? Or do you want to find something to do?" He asked her, trying to get a narrower idea.
"I would rather find something to do," Cicada responded humming slightly at the kiss. She didn't feel like eating or drinking at the moment wanting to do something, "If that's fine by you."
"Of course, that's why I asked." Phoenix hummed, leading her off the campus. "How about we go to the park until I think of something?" He offered lightly as he slowly started in that direction.
"The park sounds fun," Cicada gave him a smile as she went a little faster with the destination in mind. She hummed a little, "And I can think of something too, I just don't know the town as well as you do."
"Yeah, totally. I just didn't want to make you feel like you had to." Phoenix hummed with a little shrug, picking up his own pace. "I might have some ideas- but a lot of them cost money."
"I can pay if it costs money," Cicada told him. She didn't mind paying for him or for herself if need be, depending on the activity. She gave him a smile, "So what are your ideas?"
"You shouldn't have to pay." Phoenix mumbled still leading her on. "But there's a bowling alley, a little further in the city. I think there might be a mini-golf place around here too, and maybe laser tag."
"Laser tag?" Cicada perked up a little at the mention of that. She also bumped him slightly as they walked, "And you're a college student who has bills to pay. I'm also a college student, but I've also got cash okay?"
"I've got money too, Cicada. And yes, there's laser tag. Is that what you want to do?" Phoenix hummed lightly, still leading her to the park. He knew once they made it through to the other side, it wasn't far.
"I mean, yeah. It sounds fun and I would totally kick your ass," Cicada replied with a light smirk on. She kept walking hoping that they wouldn't need to backtrack through the park to get to the laser tag place.
"Would you now?" Phoenix chuckled lightly, not seeming to be bothered by her competitive nature. "Well, once we've made it through the park, we can test that theory."
"Oh I definitely would," Cicada smirked at him keeping in pace. She held his hand as they walked and even started to sway it a little, "You probably don't have the heart to aim a laser gun at me."
"As long as I know it won't physically harm you, I think I'll be alright." Phoenix hummed a little, leaning over to peck her cheek. "I've been hanging around you. I think some of your competitiveness is rubbing off on me."
