Shade wanted to cry. This wasn't right, this wasn't what the Nexus was created for. She felt the tears slip down her face. Why? Why?! WHY?!!

Jamie looked at the schedule again. He probably should have been more alarmed about this entire situation, but he was used to being alone in unknown places. He had been alone before he and his sister, Sara, had been adopted, he had been alone when his two elder sisters from the family who adopted him ran away, and he had been alone when his best friend, Luke, died. He was used to being alone, though he had to admit that it wouldn't be as easy as it had been before. He had grown accustomed to Elijah's inventions, Oliver's crazy rants, Ryan's nagging, and Don's bitterness. He wasn't so sure if he wanted to be alone at this point.

Shade looked at her schedule. You couldn't have added any normal classes?

The schedule went something like this. First up was a basic combat class, followed by a basic magic class, then an advanced magic class, lunch, advanced combat, and finally a tournament style sparing class. Where the losers were going to be punished in unnamed ways.

Shade sighed and stared at the ceiling, "Why?"

Ruki walked to his first class: Basic Combat Class. He walked into the classroom.

Cicada walked into the class she saw that Riku kid there and walked up and greeted him, "Hey!"]

Shade slinked her way into the class. She wasn't seen by anyone.

Jamie got up and wiped his face. When did I start crying? He thought to himself, before shaking his head. His first class was Basic Combat Class, he needed to get there if he didn't want to be "punished" as the man had said. It wasn't like he couldn't defend himself, it was more like he wasn't really in the mood to. He grabbed his dagger and walked out of the room. He wondered aimlessly until he found the correct classroom, and he walked inside.

"Hey there!" Riku waved, "Cicada, right?"

Bill walked to the combat class, Susan also did and they both sat down.

"Yep," Cicada responded, "Riku?"

Jamie stood in the doorway for a couple moments before walking over and sitting behind Cicada and Riku.

"Yeah, so, Combat Class, eh? Have you had any experience with combat?" he tried starting a conversation.

After looking in the mirror, making sure she looked ok. She flipped the blade into a watch again and she slipped down to her first class. Basic Combat Class. She felt like she didn't really need it, but she went anyway. She plopped down in a seat that was away from the others.

"Oh hi!" Cicada greeted Jamie.

Shade sat down in a chair far away from everyone else.

Bill stood up, and went to talk with the others. "What d'you think?" she asked.

"Yeah, so, Combat Class, eh? Have you had any experience with combat?" he tried starting a conversation.

"Yeah," Cicada pulled out a dagger, "Used to be a thief."

"Oh, uh, this is kinda awkward," Riku nervously laughed, "I'm actually a hero in training."

"On earth?" Cicada asked him, "By the way what is earth?"

"Yeah, so, Combat Class, eh? Have you had any experience with combat?" he tried starting a conversation.

"Yeah," Cicada pulled out a dagger, "Used to be a thief."

Jamie raised his eyebrows at her. He pulled out his own dagger. "I trained with the also's." He said, forgetting that these people didn't know what the also's were.

Shade saw Zoe being all sad and walked over to sit next to her, "I'm not here."

"On earth?" Cicada asked him, "By the way what is earth?"

"Earth is one of the planets," He explained. "There's a bunch of different versions of it though, but not that many people know that. I'm from HH~43754, it's one of the versions."

"Haha very funny." She joked as she turned over to look at her. "You think we get graded here?"

Shade looked at Zoe, "Yeah. But I'm not supposed to be here so shush."

"Okay," Cicada responded, "That's an earth."

"Oh.. so when does it start." She whispered to her. She was getting very anxious because of her ADHD.

"I don't understand this class," Jamie said, changing the topic. "It seems like all of us know how to fight, some more than others. Why would we need a class on it?"

"Whenever Shadow decides to show up," Shade responded.
