"You should leave," Code Breaker eyes twinkled, "This situation is being handled."
"You should leave," Code Breaker eyes twinkled, "This situation is being handled."
"Or, ya know, I could watch and make sure nothing bad is going to happen," Whitehot said, crossing her arms and leaning against a light pole.
Cyrus listened from his spot. He thought this would be a good time to go. He raised his camera and snapped a few photos of the group. But the flash went off. Anxiety filled his stomach as he slowly shifted back.
"If your going to do that you might as well stay still," Code Breaker threw the dagger at Whitehot's chest.
Whitehot slipped to one side, dodging Code Breaker's dagger by barely an inch. A flash of light caught her attention, and she turned to face it.
"Did you see that?" she asked, peering into the darkness.
"Yep," Code Breaker through a second dagger at where the light came from.
Cyrus watched as the forms turned his way. “Shit..” he muttered, jumping up from his crouch position and beginning to run quickly to where the dorms were a short distance away. He gripped the camera tightly, he couldn’t loose it.
"Okay, whatever. I don't see anyone. Anyway, continue with your questioning," Whitehot directed, leaning back on the light pole and crossing her arms again.
"I'm not saying anything until you leave," Shade pulled up a holographic screen.
"Uh, okay… And why is that? You worried I'm going to ruin your fun? 'Cause I promise I'll only do that if I deem it necessary," Whitehot promised.
“And I was just getting excited that we were working together,” Sagittarius said drily.
"Great," Code Breaker rolled her eyes, "What do you think Sagittarius? Should we let her stay?"
“I don’t really care as long as she doesn’t get in the way.”
Whitehot rolled her eyes.
This is ridiculous. They're not doing anything wrong, so far, and I've got that test to study for. Not to mention the fact that I'm still not fully healed from earlier. Maybe I should just leave.
"Fine then," Code Breaker pulled up Duuvuri's files. Specifically One's files. She realized these were top secret military files, but oh well. She turned to Duuvuri, "Recognize these?"
(Wow, I go to school, come back and…….. What have I missed!!?!?)
“You’ve got access to files?” Sagittarius was on her feet instantly.
"A couple yeah," Code Breaker glanced at Sagittarius, "Why do you care?"
“I want to see them,” she said, walking over.
"Go ahead and look," she gestured to the holoscreens.
She stepped up and flipped through, pulling up a file that said “IVAN NGUYEN.” She winced and muttered “Ivory” under her breath, before looking at the cause of death.
“Unknow. Of course. Of course this asshole covered it up.”
Golden turned around to look at Code Breaker.
"Is there anything about Remus Jansen?" She asked, voice small.
She looked through the files, "Yeah. You know him?"
Bloodlust watched the scene, glaring and judging Whitehot while itching to take a look at the files. Asja.
"I… yeah. " She said, blinking to hide the tears forming in her eyes.
She turned back to Duuvuri. "And you killed him!"
Duuvuri looked towards Bloodlust, mouth closed.
"I already told you that you could talk, man."
Whitehot noticed Bloodlust glaring at her and inwardly rolled her eyes. She grinned at him, giving him a saucy wink.
(If this seems odd to anyone, just remember that she's very flirty when trying to gain info.)
"Apologise," Golden said, turning the full force of her anger on Duuvuri. "Say sorry for killing my friends and ruining my life!"
Oh, so that's what this is about, Whitehot thought as she watched the scene unfolding before her.
