Ellis was quiet, keeping an eye on Lloyd.

"Mmmm… that feels so much nicer…" Lloyd murmured, shifting to be more comfortable on the bed. He closed his eyes and sighed softly in content.

Ellis smiled a little bit.

"Do you see why you need to be on the right amount of pain medication now?" Nathaniel asked, crossing his arms and seeming quite pleased with himself. Lloyd nodded and started purring weakly as he relaxed.

Ellis smiled a little bit, biting his lip slightly.

"You're a dumbass sometimes." Nathaniel ruffled Lloyd's hair affectionately. "Mm… don't say dumbass, Nathaniel. You'll get in trouble." "I'll be fine. I'm not a dumbass."

Ellis laughed a little bit.

"Now, move over. I'm tired too." Lloyd sighed and moved a bit so Nathaniel could climb onto the bed. "You can sleep in your own bed, you know." "Not when you're hurt like this. You know I worry too much."

Ellis laughed a little bit at them.

"You gonna join in too, Ellis?" Lloyd asked, laughing softly as Nathaniel got comfortable. He seemed to be in better spirits now that he wasn't in pain.

Ellis laughed. "Well. Do you want me to?"

"Sure, go ahead. I don't care." Lloyd shrugged and shifted again so there was more room.

Ellis shrugged, and piled onto the bed with them.

Lloyd yawned and settled down, soon falling asleep. Nathaniel dozed off soon after, huddled up against Lloyd's side.

Ellis lay quietly, looking at the ceiling.

After a few minutes, Lloyd turned over in his sleep and huddled up to Ellis, still purring softly in his sleep.

Ellis blinked, then smiled a little bit.

Lloyd wrapped his wings around himself for warmth and latched onto Ellis's arm, yawning a bit.

Ellis simled, closing his eyes.

Ellis woke up after a while, and his cheeks turned red as he realized that he was cuddled up with Lloyd still. He bit his lip, unsure what to do.

Lloyd was basically tangled up with Ellis now, still purring softly. He seemed pretty comfortable and content for the moment.

Ellis didn't know what to do about this.

Lloyd didn't seem like he was going to just go away any time soon. In fact, he was gradually moving closer for warmth.

Ellis remaiend still, one arm gently around Lloyd.

Lloyd slept for a while after that, but he soon stirred and looked up at Ellis. When he realized what he was doing, he flushed red and quickly pulled back, apologizing profusely.
