Betty was crying and screaming and whimpering

Lysander looked up at her, feeling very helpless as she screamed.

Evan almost let out a sigh of relief as the house came into view but the sounds coming from inside discouraged him. He quickly landed and entered.

Henry glanced over at Tyler before returning his attention to the three they were spying on. ”Should we wait a bit longer or do we make a move now?” he asked, his voice just above a whisper.

"Wait' " she said.

Henry nodded and listened closely to the three, wondering what kind of poison they used and how they got it on Ly.

Betty was crying her eyes out

Evan walked over to her and gently placed a hand on her shoulder. ”Betty? It's me. It's Evan. I'm here.” he said soothingly.

She barried her head in his chest sobbing

Evan sat down with her and held her against him gently. ”I know, darling. I know.” he whispered.

She cried out in pain

Evan loosened his grip and looked at her in worry. He wanted to ask what hurt, but he knew that would be a pointless question.

Lysander looked up sharply at the cry. ”Don’t touch her!” he warned, not wanting her to be hurt more.

She barried her head in the crook of his neck crying

Henry glanced at his younger brother and shook his head. ”No. You can't touch her. Somehow Kameron and her siblings put a type of poison on you that only affects Betty.” he explained. ”Henry and Tyler are watching them to find out what kind and if there’s an antidote.”

Betty's flesh was on fire from lysander as she cried

Lysander was stunned by the news and looked at his hands. ”How…” he let out in confusion.

”I don't know how but if I had to guess… I wouldn't be surprised if it's wolfsbane based.” Evan said answering his brother's next question.

She closed her eyes whimpering

Henry held back a low growl of impatience. ”They’re not saying anything helpful right now. I think we’ve waited long enough.” he whispered to Tyler.

Tyler gripped his shoulder " there's three of them two of us were out numbered" she said

”I’ve fought with worse odds.” Henry reminded her, almost stubbornly. But he had to admit to himself that she had a point… plus she was pregnant and not really in much a condition to fight. ’Ev… can you ask Ly to join us out here? We could use a hand.’

Evan gave a small nod, hearing Henry's request mentally, before strongly suggesting that the Lysander should help his adoptive brother.

Betty looked from Evan to lysander hyperventilating as she looked back at Evan

”What?” Lysander asked, a little confused and not wanting to leave Betty.

”It’s obvious that Betty shouldn't be alone right now and you can't touch her until we get answers and the antidote.” Evan told him. ”And maybe that poison could work in your advantage.”

Betty shook her head rapidly

Lysander looked at her and knelt beside his wife but didn't touch her. ”What is it?” he asked softly.

She looked at him with sad eyes

Lysander sighed and looked at her. ”Angel… you don't want me to go, do you?” he asked gently.

She shook her head crying again

“Please don’t cry, my love.” Lysander whispered. ”I don't want to leave you.”

”But Henry and Tyler need help.” Evan argued gently. ”And you two can't touch.”

Betty hot up and used her speed to lock herself in the bathroom

Lysander gave Evan a brief glare before following after his wife and knocked lightly on the door. ”Betty? I’m still here. It's alright.”

Betty stayed in the bathroom sobbing

Lysander sighed and rested his forehead against the door. ”Please don't cry. I won't leave you.” he promised her. ”But even if I had to go and help Henry, I don't think I would get hurt.” he pointed out gently.
