Glancing up at her, his flush stayed as he smiled. Dylan kissed the top of the cat's head before setting him down. "Then we should head out."
Glancing up at her, his flush stayed as he smiled. Dylan kissed the top of the cat's head before setting him down. "Then we should head out."
" sure " she said " lead the way"
Nodding, Dylan led her on with a gentle smile. "It's this way." He hummed, holding a hand back to her.
She walked over to him and grabbed his hand with a smile
Dylan smiled, lacing their fingers together as he came up to the back door. "I'm assuming you didn't bring a swimsuit?"
She smiled as felt thier fingers intwine with a blush " No I did not " she said
"That's alright. Just thought I'd ask, because I have a pool." Dylan hummed with a light shrug. "Maybe some other time."
"Maybe" she said lightly squeezing his hand looking down at the ground
As they stepped outside, he stepped off to the side so she could walk out. "I'll leave it up to you."
She walked out the door and smiled her opening slightly she loved the outdoors even a backyard
The big back yard was pretty grassy all around, except right around the pool. But it was nice, with a few trees shooting up. "Here, there's chairs out on the deck." He hummed softly.
She looked down at the grass surrounding her feet and smiled
"Not much, considering it could be a lot more, but I enjoy being out here." Dylan told her softly, sitting down in one of the chairs.
She smiled sitting down beside him in a different chair
“I feel like I’m rambling… am I bugging you?” Dylan asked softly, sitting on the edge of his seat.
"No of course not" she said looking at him with a soft smile
“You’re sure? You seem quiet, and I’m just non-stop talking… which is quite frankly, weird for me.” Dylan insisted softly.
"I'm okay" she said reaching over to squeeze his hand
His cheeks flared red as soon as felt the gentle squeeze, forgetting that they had been holding hands. It had just felt natural to him. “I- o-okay… if you’re sure.” Dylan whispered, glancing back at her. Clearly something was up, he hadn’t flushed this badly in forever.
She looked at thier hands then back to him and started to let go of his hand
When he felt her hand loosen, his heart dropped a bit. ’It’s fine… no big deal… she just doesn’t want to hold hands.’ Dylan told himself, trying to clear the flush. “Yeah… so- Um yeah. Do you have any other plans?”
"Nope she said getting off the chair and sitting in front of his chair on the deck sitting her chin on the edge of the chair
The way she was sitting in front of him, set his face into an even more colored state. "I-that's… that's good." Dylan mumbled, glancing elsewhere.
"it's good I don't have plans" she giggl
"No- I mean, yes- I…" Dylan was a total mess, dropping his face in his hands. He couldn't help it- that feeling just rose in him, and he couldn't help himself but be flustered. "I don't know?"
She giggled "good to know"
'Don't you try to ignore it, this time Dylan.' He snapped at himself, trying to relax a little. 'You know you like her. Don't screw it up this time.' Taking in a deep breath, with his face's color relaxing, he looked down at her sheepishly. "S-sorry… I told you, I'm bad with people."
She shook her head " no well maybe but it's fine" she said
He nodded weakly, knowing he just needed to ask her. Tell her, more that was. But he'd feel awful if she didn't like him… and then put her on the spot. 'Stop hesitating!' He yelled at himself. "I- yeah… so anyways, got any plans this weekend?"
"Well I do have practice for my group and im visiting my dad on Sunday but I'm free" she said
