”You know that will kill Lysander.” he pointed out. ”I don't blame her for being scared, though.”

" look if I was in Betty's position I'd leave' she said

”Why?”

"Look at her she gets attacked by old girlfriends best friends she already feels like crap" tyler said

Henry sighed a little. ”That’s… I'm not sure that's really a reason to leave. I think I kind of understand but… But look at what she’d be losing.” he argued gently. ”A husband who is still absolutely head over heels in love with her and would do anything for her, her best friend who is practically a sister, an old friend of her own who now loves her like a sister and wants to help. Not to mention her kids, her real father, and new boyfriend.”

Tears welled up in Tyler's eyes '' you don't understand she's scared she's in pain every day" tyler said

Seeing the tears, Henry gently pulled Tyler into a hug. ”I know she is. But you're right. I don't understand very well, even though I want to… She just doesn't always tell me what's wrong.”

" she's getting hurt and you expect her to stay? She asked

He shrugged slightly. ”I guess not… I don't want her to leave but I can't say I blame her for thinking about it.” he admitted. ”But if she stays then she doesn't have to face this alone. I know that's what she's used to but it doesn't have to be like that anymore.”

" you see she doesn't trust anyone in this room' she said

”What? Why not?” he asked in surprise. ”Not even her husband?”

" you killed her I tried to kill her lysanders hurt her emotionally and physically " she said

”You can't be serious. That was before Asher was born.” He pointed out. ”She’s still holding a grudge against that? I literally had no control. I didn't want to hurt her, but Charles for some reason decided to ”test” me by making me do that. I don't know what your excuse was for attacking her but Ly just developed that power and wasn't sure how it worked. He would rather drive a stake soaked in vervain and holy water through his own heart then injure her.”

" it doesn't matter, do you know how many times you've let her down?' tyler. Asked

Henry winced at that. Since he had dated Betty, he was ashamed to admit that he lost count of the number of times he let her down. ”I… I’m trying to make up for that.” he said.

"Look at her she can't see out her left eye" tyler almost screamed

”At all?” he exclaimed. ”Shit! Then we have to get her to a hospital.”

"Yeah that's not happening'' Tyler said

”Why not? You said she won't take blood, so the hospital is her only option if she wants to see out of that eye again.” Henry pointed out, not noticing his shadow growing.

" maybe she doesn't want to!"she said

”She wants to be half-blind?!?”

" maybe!" She yells

”Will you both shut up!” Lysander snapped, standing defensively in front of his wife. ”If you two are going to fight, take it outside or better yet, go and try to find Betty's crystal.”

“The only girlfriend I have is my wife.” Lysander stated firmly.

”She means Kam. The same wolf who attacked her.” Henry clarified.

" yeah your girlfriend'' she said

”Kam was never my girlfriend. We were just friends.” Lysander said truthfully.

Henry rolled his eyes. ”Yeah, but she has a crush on you the size of Texas and everyone else here can see it.”

Tyler nodded

”And it's not recent either.” Henry continued. ”She’s had this crush for a long time.”

Lysander blinked, a little stunned. He wasn't totally oblivious to how Kam acted around him… He just had never put two and two together.
