Nyx grinned. "Ooh!" He said, eyes alight as he looked around the exhibit, tugging Jude excitedly over to the skeletons.

Jude smiled as Nyx pulled him over to get a better look, laughing as he apologized to a few people for bumping into their shoulders. "Pretty cool, right?" He said, his eyes following the long neck of one of them, seeing that it almost touched the ceiling.

Nyx nodded excitedly. "Mhm!" he replied, grinning as he looked up at the skeletons, wide-eyed and happy. "This is really cool."

"And to think these guys were just walkin' around on Earth," Jude said with a soft laugh, slowly walking around the towering arrangement of bones, "It's weird to think about; they're huge."

Nyx nodded a little. "Yeah." He said, leading Jude around, looking up at the bones happily.

"Here," Jude said, pointing at a dimly lit 'Hall of Fossils' where a few people were wandering off to, "You wanna look in there?"

He nodded excitedly. "Yeah!" he replied, tugging Jude over towards it, grinning happily.

Jude let out a soft laugh as Nyx excitedly brought him over, smiling as they made their way through the darkened room where spotlights shone down on encased fossils and a recorded voice spoke about them overhead.

Nyx listened quietly as he looked at all the different fossils, looking very much like an excited child.

"Ooh, look at this one," Jude smiled, pointing at a giant fossil of a whole dinosaur skeleton, "It's huge."

Nyx made a soft "ooo" sound, peering at it. "I didn't know that dinosaurs were so big." he said, in awe of the massive skeletons.

"You think this is big? Just wait 'til we go further in," Jude said with a laugh, thinking back to the towering skeleton they passed in the main hall, "But these are the fossilized ones, so they're, like, super preserved in stone and kind of smaller."

Nyx nodded slightly, looking up at the skeletons with wide, awe-struck eyes. "They're amazing." he said again, smiling happily.

Jude nodded, letting his gaze travel over the different bones and creatures fossilized in rough stone. "Mhm," He smiled, "Terrifying to seriously think about, but yeah, amazing."

Nyx nodded again, still looking around with wide eyes, completely in awe of these skeletons that had been recreated.

(hhh one of Jude's friends making a sex joke (bonus points if it's a sex joke about Jude and Nyx) and Nyx just. Not understanding at all lmao)

"Ooh– Let's look at that," Jude suggested, pointing at a long encased exhibit in the adjoining room, "There's like a row of dinosaur skulls or something."

(skjfdlq i have a feeling they're gonna be goofy & annoying asf (poor jude's gonna be blushing so hard)

Nyx grinned, and headed towards the exhibit, tugging Jude after him. "Come on!" He said excitedly, grinning happily.

(ahfhbdh and Nyx like "what? What's going on?")

Jude laughed in quiet surprise as Nyx tugged him along, taking a last look around the Hall of Fossils before they walked into the lighter room. "Hmm," He smiled, looking down the long display of skulls.

(lmaooo and Nyx is just sitting there like "Jude. Jude. What are they talking about. Jude I don't understand.")

Nyx cooed faintly as he looked at all the skulls, tugging Jude even closer to the displays, examining the skullls.

"Ohh, so these are like, different ages and stages of…" Jude said, leaning to glance at the plaque of information, "Protoceratops." He glance down the far right side, and then to the left, "It goes from oldest and biggest, to youngest and smallest."

(ahaaahaa & jude's just blushing & shrinking into his seat like 'gUys sToP cAn wE pLeAsE tALk aBoUt SoMeThInG eLsE')

Nyx nodded a little bit, looking at the exhibit with wide, happy eyes. "Cool!" he replied, unable to squash the grin that had taken over his face.

"Mhm," Jude nodded, smiling fondly as he glanced back to Nyx and saw his elated expression, leaning over to press a soft kiss on his cheek, "Cutie."

Nyx glanced up at him, and threw his arms around Jude's shoulders, bringing him down for a kiss. "Thanks for bringing me." He said.

Jude smiled in surprise, softly nodding as he slid an arm around Nyx's waist, "Yeah– of course," He replied, "It wasn't too far, right? It's not a huge deal, anyway."

Nyx leaned into him. "Maybe not to you." He replied, looking up at Jude. "But it's a big deal for me."

Jude nodded, pressing a soft kiss on Nyx's cheek. "Okay," He said with a faint smile, looking into his bright blue eyes, "I'm glad this is making you happy, then. That's all I really want out of this."

Nyx smiled up at him happily. "Okay." he replied, pressing close to Jude and kissing him again. "Now let's go look at more dinosaurs!"

"Dinosaurs, yes, okay," Jude softly laughed, smiling as he nodded and glanced at the other exhibits around them, "Yes, let's go see some more."

Nyx nodded, walking with Jude. "Okay." He replied happily, walking around.
