Jelleh walked across the hall, she heard voices, this wasn't what she was going to but eavesdropping may help her with her thing. She snuck in the room and stud in the corner of the room.

I felt bad for not saying anything to Jelleh. I zoned off. I do that sometimes and when I do I'm usually doing something completely different from what I was doing a few seconds ago. This time, I was unpacking and I now find myself staring out the small window by my bed. I looked at the time. Half an hour!? I thought to myslef. I can't believe it. I walked out of my room and walked straight to the door of Lloyd and Carter's room. I froze to calm myself down. I reached up and knocked on the door. "Hey guys, I'm sorry about being in my room for so long. I don't know what happened. I hope you guys are talking about something interesting. I need social interaction!" I said quickly, too quickly. "Stupid" I mumbled to myself. They're going to think I'm crazy! I turned around and leaned my back against their door. "I'm so embarassed" I thought to myself.
(I might make her something supernatural too but idk :D)

Carter turned to the door with an panicked expression on his face. He wasn’t even sure why he had told Lloyd about his brother in the first place, but he couldn’t have another person finding out. He turned to Lloyd. “Are we supposed to open it?” He asked, swinging his legs off the bed in oder to take off his shoes.

"I think so, but social interaction isn't my forte." Lloyd shrugged, looking over at the door. Who on earth would want social interaction? Much less need it…

Carter rubbed at his face. “Yeah…. yeah okay.” He sighed, getting up. He took off his coat and folded it over his arm before opening the door. “He’s all yours,” Carter muttered to Edlin before brushing past her and walking back into the living room.

Confused, I allowed Carter to brush past. I walked into the room and saw Lloyd looking at me bewildered. "So, what's up?" I asked dropping myself onto the closest bed. I smiled at him hoping it would make hi fell less awkward. "Care to share what's going on?" I asked cheerfully.

"No idea." Lloyd shrugged. He spotted Jelleh in the corner, but said nothing. "He's worried about his brother, I think." (Lloyd's an angel, so he'd be able to see her)

"Oh." I said sympathetically. "I hope that nothing is wrong." I looked towards the door where Carter had left the room as a frown crossed my face. I looked back at Lloyd, "I'll be back in a minute." I said standing up. I smiled at Lloyd and left the room looking for Carter. I have a plan to maybe help him feel better. "This will work." I whispered to myself.

Carter walked into the living room and hung his coat up with a huff. He turned to pick up the newspaper that he had left on the floor, and his stomache made a sickening lurch when he saw the headline again.

"Alright then." Humans are so fickle, aren't they? Here one moment, the next having decided to do something completely different. He flipped open the book again, scanning the words he had read so many times before.

I walked into the living room to see Carter looking at the newspaper. Maybe that's where it talks about his brother? My original plan was to give him a hug but I decided against it. I walk up to him and force a smile. "Whatcha reading?" I ask trying to sound lighthearted.
