(Vincent is such a flirt, I based him off of a friend of mine who is the official ladies man of our grade. He and Vincent share the fact that he doesn't realize he's flirting, he just does it.)
Vincent raised an eyebrow at Blonde Marcus, " For Marcus's sake I probably shouldn't call you Blonde Marcus, Besides I know your name, Daelan"
(I was thinking that Daelan is wearing his student ID around his neck and Vince is just reading it)
Marcus was confused. "Blonde Marcus? What's that about?"
(lol that sounds good)
“What—? How do—?” Then he glanced down at his student ID. “Oh, how clever of you.” Daelan smirked. “And here I thought you actually knew me by name. Oh well. That was fun while it lasted.”
Vincent Grinned, "Well you see, Marcus, I was asking this Blonde, sorry, Caramel haired fellow what his name was after commenting that you, Marcus, would probably want your book back, as your name was written on the cover. This Blonde, Ahem, Caramel haired individual claimed to be you , then you showed up so I joked that I would just call him Blonde Marcus." Vincent finished explaining, very sure that Poor Marcus would be very confused.
Daelan rolled his eyes. “I was merely saying that he had no way to know that I wasn’t you,” he added to Marcus. “Except, apparently, he did because of my stupid student ID. Anyway, I was obviously kidding. And I was going to give the book back tomorrow, I just saw it sitting out and got curious.” Daelan may be a thief, but at least he was an honest one…sort of.
(I guess I'll let my Tempy boy sleep in his domain: the library…)
Vincent took Daelan's shift in focus as an opportunity to direct his attention back to Angel, "The maps they give new student's aren't easy to read, I'm not surprised you got lost." He found her current 'Face buried in sweater' slightly adorable. "If you have a spare moment, I would love to show you around the important places."
Angel peeked back out from under her sweater at Vince. "That would be nice." she replied, stuffed her shoes into her bag, and slung it over her shoulder. She then stood up, waiting for him to lead.
(Have I mentioned Vincent has a light Irish accent, I don't know if Ireland exists in this world but he has an Irish accent)
Vincent stood, and offered Angel his arm "If you want you can hold on so you we don't get separated, the halls are usually pact and I would hate to lose you." He smiled at Angel, "M'lady."
(Vincent is a proper gentlemen and he will be a proper gentlemen and offer the Lady his arm.)
"Thanks." Angel grabbed onto his arm with both of her hands, basically hugging him.
She was that kind of person that you absolutely couldn't loose, even if you wanted to. She was always either holding onto you, or no more than two inches behind you.
(The two inches behind you is not an exaggeration. I know from experience. XD)
Tempest wasn't happy with his sheet music….for the eight time already but this time he missed the trash can. he tired another song he had worked on last week that he was happy with. Should he be out making friends? yes he should. Was he? who knew. for now he was using the piano ( https://www.soundtrap.com/play/x6eblyBnS6CaVrwuQH8fiQ/first-light/ )
Vincent grinned, "Then let us be off." He began walking back towards the school buildings pointing out the different entrances that could be taken to reach certain classroom numbers. "You can go through the Buildings to get to your class", he explained," they're all connect in some way or another, but it's much less crowded and much easier to walk around outside till you're at the right building." He gestured to the buildings, "In there it's a Maze." he used his free hand to gesturing to the entirety of the out doors, "Out here it's a little easier to find everything." He was heading in the general direction of the Library.
"So don't use the halls. Got it." Angel said, mentally taking notes.
(might want to let others post too just saying)
Daelan glanced at the twosome as they left before turning back to Marcus. “Well, I suppose the lovebirds are off,” he remarked.
"Um, yeah, I guess they are," said Marcus. "Well, uh, I was actually going to stay here and read so…"
Daelan shrugged. “I was going to see if I can do magic,” he added. “So I’m staying here too, unless I blow something up by accident and then I’m out of here.” He grinned. He wasn’t sure why he thought that trying to do magic was a good idea, especially since most likely nothing would come of it. But why not?
"Well, So am I" Axil shrugged. He continued reading and sighed. He was so going to fail the test. He always failed tests. He read quietly and suddenly put down the book. He got up and went to the other side of the courtyard. He laid down, and looked up to the sky.
"Oh, well, good luck with that," said Marcus. He sat down by the tree and began reading one of his books.
Daelan glanced at Axil for a moment before looking at Marcus again. “Thanks,” he responded with a wink before looking through the book for an easy spell. It was one to make things float. He concentrated on a nearby leaf and murmured the words to the spell. Nothing. He tried it a little louder, and still nothing. Softer speaking didn’t get any results either. He pronounced it three different ways and nothing happened then either. Okay, so maybe Daelan couldn’t do magic.
Axil watched Daelan try to do magic. Axil could do magic. Not well tho. Axil came over to Daelan and asked, "You're practicing magic?" He said, sitting a few feet from Daelen.
“I’m attempting to,” Daelan responded with a laugh. “I don’t think dragons are meant to do magic.” He shrugged.
Axil Smiled. "You'll do it. It'll take a while. If I can do it, you can do it!" Axil said, smiling at Daelan. Even tho I can only levitate a leaf Axil mumbled.
"Oh, you're a dragon?" asked Marcus. He couldn't help but join into their conversation. "I mean, I don't think most dragons can do magic but I've read of some who've learned to. Uh, maybe I can help you? Not to brag, but uh, I'm actually pretty good at magic."
Daelan brightened. “Sure!” he replied, with a grin at both of the other boys. He was excited to have someone who actually knew how help him; it would make this a lot easier for him. Daelan hadn’t given up yet, even if it had looked that way. He was truly quite stubborn.
Upon arriving at the library, Angel looked around in wonder. It was the biggest library she'd ever seen. She swears it was the size of at least a football field. There were so many stories, so many adventures to be had right in this very room.
"Ok. Well, um, first off, maybe you need a wand. They're pretty helpful for beginners. I could lend you one if you want," said Marcus.
