She smiled stroking his hair "How was breakfast ?'

He hummed softly and leaned into her hand “it was good, Jack’s still has flour in her hair from yesterday so she’s a little pissed but it’s fine.”

She smiled "I bet, and how are you?" She asked

He shrugged “as okay as a Quinn can be. Still kinda frazzled from yesterday but I’m doing better.”

"good because we have school tomorrow" she said

Brink groaned and pulled the covers over his head “you’d think being the children of villains they’d let you have some leeway when it comes to school.”

"we also go to school with children of superhero so got to show who's top dog or cat" she said "whatever you prefer"

He peeked out from the sheets “cats, duh, though mom did have a hyena before…” he laughed softly and nodded “they should already know who’s top of the food chain.”

"I used to attend a hero Fighting academy" she said

He arched an eyebrow “that’s a thing?”

"yeah it's a thing of course that's a thing that was when I used to be hot" she teased

"You still are kitty." he pressed a kiss to her cheek "I've never heard of one."

"what was it like?" he asked, nudging his head gently against hers affectionately

"very painful" she said with a smile combing through his hair with her fingers

He sighed softly and shook his head, "my poor kitty cat, always getting hurt." he scooted up on the bed so that they were level and pressed his lips to hers, kissing her slowly at first.

She smiled kissing him back, cupping his cheek

he leaned into her hand and smiled against her lips

"I love you" she mumbled against his lips

He smirked teasingly "what was that kitty cat? I'm not sure I caught that."

Shez lightly pushed on his shoulder"I love you"

"Just once more my cat, just so all of Gotham can hear you." he winked and pressed a kiss to her lips with a smile

"And tell me my love why does all off Gotham have to hear me?" She asked

"So they know you're off limits." he said sweetly "some have been getting a bit too close…" he looked away from her for a moment, thinking back to the galla

He smiled softly and gently cupped her cheek "And I love you my cat, so very much. More than I could ever say." he pressed a kiss to her lips, this time a bit rougher but still managing to be gentle
