I used to only burn then go back to pasty blindingly pale! 😂

I love the fact that I started a convo about sunburns and tans…. 😂

My mom gets mad at me when I wear jeans in the summer, but then chastise's me when I wear shorts because I am too pale and also I can never go outside because she gives me 30 trillion things to do, and yes my job is outside, but our uniforms are a polo shirt (Why a polo in 110* weather, IDK) and black pants that reach the knee, so I just wear leggings or yoga pants and basically never get tan or sunburned

I almost never show any skin except face/wrists, and sometimes forearms (but I'd rather not). A big part of that is because of the desert sun. Sunscreen only goes so far. Headscarves, jackets, and hats are a must out here for outdoorsy stuff, I'd say.

I like wearing shorts and crop tops but I rarely go outside so like

At school I'm usually wearing pants and a sweatshirt no matter what the weather is because it's comfortable and most of my classrooms are cold. But in summer I usually have on jeans and a t-shirt or shorts and a long sleeved shirt. Sometimes (and for marching band ALWAYS) it's shorts and a t-shirt. I just get cold and I like having something that's kind of weighted on me. If that makes sense.

I feel more confident when covered up too

Bathing suits make me uncomfortable especially if I have other clothes over it. The fabric feels weird and gross

I don't show my legs either, and they don't sell full coverage swim suits like that unless they're all one piece, like scuba wear, but those don't come in my size.

I remember once I went to the pool in a swim shirt and shorts and this little 5-year-old girl asked me why i’m not wearing a real swimsuit like the other swimmers
