"hey…" She said reaching over to grab his hand" you believe in what's right you believe we shouldn't be treated differently because weren't born the same you believe in your family you believe in me and brink that's one of the reasons I Love you " she said placing a kiss to his knuckles

He peeked up at her and gently brushed his fingertips along her lips and cheek "Thank you kitty cat. I only wish that I could have been there when they put the tracker in you." he lied back and gently pulled her to him, pressing kisses to her head

She smiled gently " I love you. . .so much"

"I love you more, kitty." He pressed a kiss to her lips, slow and soft before pulling away and tucking her under his chin. "how's your neck?"

"it hurts but my stomach does too" she said

"it will for a bit, just try and get some rest and we'll see how you are in the morning." he reassured, wrapping the blanket around her and holding her close

"Goodnight Brink" she said

"night darling cat. I love you." he pressed a kiss to her nose and settled in for the night, well…now early morning.

"I love you too" she said

He nuzzled her head and slowly drifted off to sleep

She smiled at him playing with the Green B necklace around her neck

After a few moments his face relaxed into a soft, carefree expression

She placed her hand on his side closing her eyes

Brink awoke in the late hours of the morning. whining softly and buried his face in Ness' hair, determined to stay asleep a little longer

She grunted softly reaching up to pet hair

He trilled softly and leaned into her hand slightly "5 More minutes kitty cat, please." he begged, voice low and sweet from sleep

"Sleep as long as you'd like" she whispered starting to remove her hand

He gently pulled it back and pressed his lips to her fingertips "where ya going kitty?" he asked softly, knowing now he wouldn't be able to go back to sleep

"nowhere I literally can't get up so I can't really leave the house today" she said

"hm, true. Do they feel any better or does it still hurt?" he asked, nodding her her wounds

"They hurt badly but I'll survive" she said

"I'll see if mom has anything for the pain after breakfast." he said, stretching in place

"go eat I'm not hungry" she said

He gaped at her dramatically "what? how are you not hungry? mom makes waffles on sundays!" knowing he was being dramatic, he settled down next to her and wrapped her in his arms, careful not to hurt her. "want me to bring some up here?"

" no I'll be okay" she said

He pouted softly and pressed a kiss to her cheek "My poor kitty cat." he kissed her lips before pulling away and going downstairs to eat with the rest of his family

"bye" she said softly closing her eyes later that night Vanessa was watching TV in brinks bed

brink ate with his family, explaining that Ness was resting upstairs and that she didn't feel like eating for now. He went back upstairs with a few waffles Harley had told him to bring upstairs and gently nudged the door open. "Courtesy of mom." He said, settling down next to her and passing her the plate.
